"...why am I doing this?" He uttered as he puts on his boots. "Dr. Kal'tsit is going to kill me..."

It was his decision to leave the medical bed, his decision to go meet with W at Chernobog. He knew the risks, yet he chose to go there.

All for a break away from the conflicts.

"Still, why Chernobog?"

*flashback*

'You actually called, how thoughtful of you~' W coys from the receiver.

"Stop that annoying tone. I'm tired as hell and I need a break..... that's why I called you." He huffed from his medical bed.

'Oh? So you chose to call me because you wanted a break?'

".....yes. I just need a moment to be away from it all and collect my thoughts. Is that okay with you?"

'Yup, it's alright~ Let's hang. What time are you free?'

"About that, I'm not allowed to leave."

'Then sneak out you dunce.'

"*sigh* Alright, you set the time then. Now where?"

'Chernobog, at the suburbs. Seventh street, third block, house number 2003. Be there at nine tomorrow.'

"Hold up, Chernobog? Reunion base? Do you even know what you're talking about?"

'I am.'

"Then how do you expect me to-"

'You already know the answer to that problem Y/N~'

"...wait, are you suggesting that I... no... hell no I'm not doing that! You know how I detest that idea!"

'Didn't you say you want to get away from it all?'

"Yeah I did, but-"

'Then do it, don't be Tempest. Be someone else. You can't fully be free for a while if you're still stuck as Tempest.'

"...I don't understand the logic behind that."

'Look, what I'm saying is that you should try to throw away everything that connects yourself to your problems. Don't be Tempest, be someone else. Become Vortex once more. My Vortex.'

"..."

'C'mon, it's been a long time since I've seen him. And didn't you promise that you would come back to us? To me? Why not live up to what you promised?'

"...I'm not sure about that. My head is a jumbling mess right now, and going back to the place I swore to never come back is a very stupid idea to clear my mind. I can't just waltz back after I killed their comrades."

'*sigh* Listen, why not have a different perspective about this then?'

"A different perspective?"

'Yes, put yourself in their place. In the off-chance that they do meet you, talk with them and ask them how they feel about Tempest and what the infected long for in their side. Maybe it can help collect your thoughts regarding on what to do next. And besides, they have the utmost respect for you. They have no way to force their insistence and ideals on someone who instilled those things on them. You always have the final say in the end.'
