She woke up the next morning by a hesitant knock at her door. At first she was pretty annoyed, but then she heard the voice coming from the other side of the door.
"Hey, Aelia. I get if you are in a bad mood, but i was wanting to ask you if you are still up for going to the town with me and Cyrus?" a soft voice spoke. "I mean, you don't have to of course! I can just tell Cyrus and we will go without you!" it continued, growing more nervous by the minute. Aelia quickly pushed herself up from the mattress and responded.
"I'll be right out! I just have to get ready first."
"Alright then, I'll be waiting by the garden!"
Aelia stood up from her sitting position and walked towards her warderobe. Her room was small, located in the buildings highest tower. It had its benefits, like the beautiful view of the village that lay below the mountain that the castle was built upon, but it also had its cons, like the fact that she had to walk up a bunch of stairs to get to her room. She picked out a simple dress out of the warderobe and quickly got dressed. After giving her hair a quick comb through and putting it into a low ponytail she swung the door open and hurried down the stairs.

The sun was already high up in the sky when she arrived in the garden. She could spot Honey pretty quickly. Besides her stood a tall boy with messy brown hair and pale skin. He smiled when he spotted her and waved her over. She walked over to them and gave Cyrus a small smile. He was training to become a knight so Aelia and Honey barely saw him anymore.
"Are you ready to go?" he asked in a cheerful voice. Aelia nodded and they all started walking down.
"So" Honey begun, putting a dark lock of hair behind her ear. "What was it that had you so worked up last night? One of the servants said they saw you running crying out of the dinner hall."
Aelia sighed, she had really wanted to avoid the topic.
"I was wondering about that too" said Cyrus. "Thea saw you as well." He added, referring to his older sister.
"My parents want me to get married" She gave in. "To Cashel." Honey grimaced. By now they had arrived at the small village. Aelia diverted her attention to the small shops that were spread across the streets.
"That one looks interesting" she changed the topic and pointed at an old shop. It was built out of wood and almost looked like the roof would fall in. It had a sign above the door with neatly painted symbols on it. Cyrus looked over to where she was pointing and immediatly shivered.
"That place looks terrifying." Aelia almost laughed.
"Arent you supposed to be a knight?" she taunted him, already walking towards the door.
"I think I agree with Cyrus on this one." Honey stated. "It looks like the roof is gonna fall in." Aelia rolled her eyes and pushed the door open. The other two hesitantly followed behind her as she walked into the shop. There were shelves all around, all with strange objects lying on them. She wandered around for a while, looking at objects before something caught her eye. It was a silver chain with a small black gemstone attached to it. Below it layed a paper lable. Necklace of Aasha, she read.
"The necklace of wishes, a very interesting choice, young lady." a voice suddenly spoke behind her. Aelia whipped her head around and came face to face with an old lady. "Say, what is it you wish for?" Aelia narrowed her eyes.
"I don't wish for anything, and if I did I don't think I would tell you."
The woman chuckled.  "Surely there is something, otherwise you wouldn't want to buy the necklace, would you?"
"I'm not gonna buy it! I was just looking." She stated, before turning and walking away. She had to admit, the necklace was tempting, she did of course have her own selfish wishes. But the woman put her off, and she wouldn't want Honey and Cyrus to get concerned. Speaking of Honey and Cyrus, she had no idea where they were. She felt sort of ashamed when she realized that she had walked away from them. She walked around the shop again, before she spotted them standing and looking at something, unable to see what it was. She stepped up to them and tapped Honey on the shoulder, making her turn around and look at her. She had a weirded out expression and pointed to the shelf.
"There is a heart. In a box." Aelia looked over to the box in question and there indeed. There was an actual beating heart in the box. "We are going home." she decided. Cyrus and Honey both agreed, and they exited the shop.
