Space News: Mr. Shoelaces, the notorious shoelace thief, has become a hero after shipments of shoes he stole had victims of sex trafficking inside. He stopped the criminals on board and returned the innocent men and women to their families. People are calling for The Universal Authority to knight him. And thus, he should be known as Sir. Shoelaces. We're still waiting for The Universal Authority to respond.
Oli had woken up to find herself in her room wearing a blue hospital gown. At first, she had no memory of what had happened after she left Mars to find Monica Pauly. But then, as minutes passed by, the memories slowly returned.
She remembered sneaking into Chief Syla War's home and introducing herself as her mother and father's two-blooded clone. Panicking and not saying a word, the Chief took her to The Universal Authority where he left her with one of his subordinates, Little Baron Man, who called her father.
When Detective J arrived, his presence had left her speechless. She hadn't known she was holding her breath until when he turned around and looked at her. His hard stare was the same as in the pictures of him she had looked at for years. Yet, there he was, tears welling in his eyes when he realized she looked like the woman he loved—but it wasn't her.
Afterward, he had agreed to leave with her and protect her until when he and the Chief came up with a solution. She then met Patrick and Dennis, who worked for him in his spaceship, the Corpse Flower.
Once she entered his spaceship, her mission had been a success. She wanted to know about Monica Pauly, and he had information on her. But she hadn't known the woman had died. When she found out, it broke her heart to realize she had failed the woman's grandparents.
But Detective J offered her a solution: he'd give her Monica Pauly's dead body if she agreed to save Victoria Paulson. Oli accepted.
When she arrived on Venus with Patrick, their car broke down and they hailed that of a mysterious man with a punchable face: a coyote. She left Patrick to fix the car and drove off with the coyote to Coupon City.
Later on, she learned the mysterious man's name—Wolf—and his reason for going to Coupon City. Once they realized they were after the same thing, they allied to save Victoria and stop The Forgotten Nuns.
Things didn't go according to plan, and she died.
As she sat there staring at her reflection in the mirror, her mind replayed Wolf holding her in his arms with tears in his eyes while she slowly died. The realization she was a clone and wouldn't come back to life seemed to break him, and it made her cheeks burn.
They hadn't known each other for long. Still, he cared about her more than most. No one had cried for her when she nearly died in the accident that took her legs, leaving her needing implants. He did though, and that meant everything to her. She couldn't wait to see him and thank him for being so kind and caring and amazing and... she'd only tell him the first two, not wanting him to get a big head.
