I open my eyes and immediately see the white ceiling of my room. I guess i fell asleep right after I came back from Jason's.
Shit, Jason.
I like him.
I'm not supposed to like him.
But I can't help it.
I can't believe I'm fighting with myself right now about Jason. I push this aside for now. What time is it even? I check my phone which is conveniently placed beside me to see that it's 7 AM.
I get off and head straight to the shower. After about 15 minutes I step out of the bathroom fully refreshed. I dress in some shorts and a random shirt I find in my closet.
I head out of my room and I see that Miranda is already in the kitchen frying some bacon. She sees me and hands me a plate of bacon, eggs and toast. God bless her.
"Did I ever mention how much I love you?" I say, taking the plate from her. I then pull out the chair and sit at the counter facing the kitchen.
"No you don't, but you have no problem saying that to your boy toy." She says teasingly as she pours herself a cup of coffee.
"Hey! I don't say that to Jason." I protest immediately.
"I never said it was Jason." She says smirking at me as she takes a sip of her coffee.
I roll my eyes at her and continue eating my breakfast. Just as I'm about to start washing the dishes, Miranda says, "I'll wash. You go study."
"But you already cooked breakfast," I argue.
"Eh, that's fine. Now go study before I change my mind."
With that I walk back in to my room and collect my books. I head back out and tell Miranda that I'm going to Jason's.
She simply smirks at me and says "Enjoy your study date."
I don't even bother to respond as get out the door and down the hall. I knock on the door and I'm immediately greeted by Jason, who may I add is shirtless and wearing glasses. Did I mention that he came out of the shower? Why does he have to look this attractive this early in the morning?
"Hi there, come in. Let me just put on a shirt and we can start." He say as he sees me.
I walk in and see Jude in the living room watching TV. We keep a light conversation with each other before I walk in to Jason's room. I see flopped on his bed, using his phone.
"You're so lazy," I tease while sitting on the edge of his bed.
"My brain has reached it's limit with studying so I give up, I'll just drop out of school and stay in my room forever," He says dramatically making both of us laugh.
Once the laughter died down I say, "But seriously, get up. The exams are this week.Tomorrow will be our last day of reviewing before the first test."
In our school, we have a day of reviewing before Midterms start which is usually on Monday because the exams are from Tuesday to Friday. Each day has two exams except Friday which only has one.
We continue to study the whole day with Jason really concentrating, seeing as I bribed him with Flat-Noodle Casserole for lunch, which I remember being his favorite food when we were children. I give him an hour of self study, seeing as I have to make him some food.
After an hour the casserole is finally ready, I place it on the top of the counter and walk to Jason's room to call him for lunch. The first thing I notice when I walk through the door is that he is lying face down on his bed. I think he's sleeping.
"Jason, get up. It's lunch time already," I say while gently shaking his shoulder.
"A few more minutes Jude" he replies, still half asleep.
"Come on, the food's going to get cold," I say while continuing to shake him gently.
He slowly opens his eyes. I guess mentioning the word food did the trick. I laugh at how simple minded he gets when it comes to food. He sticks his hand up, asking me to help him up. I take his hand getting ready to pull him up when he pulls me down with him.
I scream and land on his chest, which his oddly comfortable. He smells really good. "Hey! I don't want the food I spent hour making to go to waste. Get up!" I say breaking my train of thoughts and his.
He just laughs at me and we get up together.Once we get up, I tell him i just need to go to the restroom. I head to the one in his room and lock the door. I put my back against the door and slide down it, with me ending up on the floor.
I can feel my whole face is red from what just happen. I swear, that boy is going to be the death of me.
