Love Game [Rantaro x Reader]

Chapter 5

Y/N slowly opened her eyes and looked around the room that she was in. It seemed like she fell asleep in her room that Monokuma assigned to each student that was taking part in the killing game, that he just announced yesterday. The girl tried to sit up as she noticed something under her moving. "Hmm good morning...",Rantaro mumbled under her. It seems like both of them fell asleep at one point as they were cuddling together. Y/Ns face light up red and she pushed herself off Rantaro.

The green haired boy rubbed his eyes and then looked at Y/N standing next to the bed. "... Ah! I must have fallen asleep while you were on top of me. Sorry about that!", the boy apologized and sat up straight on the bed. Although it definitely wasn't the first time that Rantaro woke up in the bed of a stranger, it was still a bit embarrassing to him. "Uhh I think I will go to my own room now and we will see each other later?", Rantaro mumbled as he got up and walked up to the door. Y/N nooded her head. "... Sure and... Thanks. I mean for last night. I appreciate that you helped me calm down even if... It was very weird of me to just push you onto my bed and suddenly starting to cry. I was just very shaken up and-" Before Y/N could finish her sentence, Rantaro let out a giggle as he opened the door. "Don't worry about that, I am used to waking up next to strangers that I met the night before!", he waved a goodbye and left the room.

Y/N was left standing alone in her dark room while being completely shocked by what Rantaro just said. "I don't remember him being like... That.", she whispered to herself as she slowly sat back down onto her bed.

Rantaro quickly closed his bedroom door behind him. With a sigh he leaned against the door and slowly let himself slide down. His heart couldn't stop pounding. It almost hurt. That was definitely not a pleasant feeling, especially since his head also started to hurt. "... Something feels wrong. I feel like... I forgot something... Or maybe someone? Ugh", he mumbled to himself and put his head between his hands. Rantaro couldn't understand what is wrong with him and why he felt this way. He tried to slowly stand up and go to his bed, but the entire room started to rotate. Before he could grab something to hold himself up, he fell onto the floor and lost consciousness.

Y/N met up with everyone in the dinning room. Everyone seemed to be on edge. No wonder since they only had a few hours left until they all died. She took a look around the room. A few people actually seemed to be missing. Shuichi, Kaede, Tsumugi, Rantaro and Korekiyo all seemed to be absent. "Ah now would you look at that Y/N is still alive! Now I wonder where she was all this time... Maybe she killed someone?", the small purple boy jumped up from the chair that he was sitting in. Y/N took a small step back. "W-what? I would never! I just woke up and walked straight here!", she said with a shaky voice. Kokichi looked her up and down. "Liar~", he giggled. Y/N looked around the room anxiously but it seems like the other students weren't paying them any attention. "What do you mean with liar?? Are you accusing me of killing someone??", Y/N started to sound angry. Kokichi let out a laugh. "Oh my- this is so funny nishehehe! I just called you a liar because you clearly didn't *just* wake up. I mean, you have make up on so that means that you have been awake for a while. No need to get so defensive... Unless you are hiding something?" Y/N clenched her fist, Kokichi was really getting onto her nerves.

A girl with green hair and a blue school uniform stepped in. "Hey Kokichi, stop harassing cute little Y/N!! I will kick your ass if you don't!", she now stood in front of Y/N and looked down on Kokichi. The small boy stuck his tongue out and took a step back. "Relax Tenko, I was just trying to lift the mood and crack a few jokes. No need to get angry at me. Actually, shouldn't we be a bit more worried about the countdown right now?", Kokichi explained as he pointed to the timer on the monitor which was currently saying "1:56".

They barely had 2 hours left to figure out a way to either escape or kill someone.
