Keeping Secrets

Steelfrost felt uneasy at the base , and everyone seemed to notice it but her. She denied it and passed it off as she was tired , but didnt want to go into stasis mode. Her spark ached too , mabey it had something the do with Megatron. She groaned inside and looked at Ratchet.

"Im going for a drive I'll report back to base in a little bit" She waited till he nodded in approval before transforming and leaving the base.

She waited till she was about an hour away from the base to contact Megatron. She didn't want the others to know she really sneeked away to meet Megatron. That was the plan. Mabey thats why she felt so uneasy , she had lied to Optimus and the others.

"Im here"

That's all she said , and a few seconds afterwards a bridge opened. She transformed and walked through to Megatron , who stood prideful. He smiled at her , it was more a smirk that teased her and made her spark swell slightly. She smiled at him , and walked up to him. He pulled her into heis arms and kissed her. It was a quick but passionate kiss all the same.

"So why did you need me here?"

Megatron's smirk faded and his expression turned into a serious one almost angry . Steelfrost's smile fadded and she grew worried.

"whats wrong?" She asked touching his arm softly.

"Unicron"

The name made her chest tighten and breathing became slightly difficult, she opened her mouth but couldn't speak.

"It seems that he wasn't full put to rest , as me and Optimus had believed" he paused to see if she would speak , when she didn't he gestured her to follow.

She followed him lost in thought. Steelfrost glanced up at the large screen. On it a large volcano , dark energon had stated to come from the top. She looked at him confused.

"I dont understand . What does this have to with Unicron."

" When Unicron was defeted by Optimus, the volcano went dead. But these past few earth days it has been active. With the dark energon both inside our veins we are the only ones who can communicate with him. But this must remain between me and you , this cannot go to the Autobots." He looked down at her.

Steelfrost looked at the screen , fear came into her spark. Megatron pulled her into his arms , Hugging her , she hugged him back afriad to let go . Afriad of what Unicron would do to them both.

" I wont let him hurt you Steelfrost. I promise. We're spark bonded." He whispered to her.

She couldn't find the words to reply to him, so she hugged him tighter , before kissing him. How could he stop Unicron , She refused to let doubt slip into his side of the bond. she pulled away from the kiss but not from his arms.

"When do we leave?" she asked .

"In two earth days, go ahead and go back to your base and rest" He kissed her one last time and opened the bridge.

Steelfrost left without another word, to afraid she show how afraid she truly was. How could she protect him or he protect her. It seemed impossible. she transformed , and drove for awhile turning the radio on. A song caught her attention Breakeven by The Script . She turned up the volume , to twenty-five. Music always soothed her fried nerves when she was human , the lyrics ussally ment something to her. She always thought of her parents , how they believed she was dead. How chrushed they could have been. What if she hadn't followed Miko that day. when she found out Energon dosent effect her like it would a normal human. The painful process of Megatron basically experiment on her. The connection the two shared when she was a mere human she now loved him. The robot who ripped her away from her home. yet she shared his berth on some nights. He destroyed her friends home but the decepticon's side and the Autobot's are similar but different. Maybe Primus would know? Why hadn't he warned her about Unicron ? So many questions that she would have to keep a secret and away from her family. She promised him to keep it a secret. A secret that might get her , Megatron , and Everyone else killed.
