Chapter 17: Awkward

(Sophie POV)

I knock on the Vacker's enormous door. Della answered and let me in with a warm hug. "Hey Sophie! Nice to see you again!" cheered Alden. I waved and Della guided me to Biana's room where the rest of the gang was. As soon as I walked into her room, an explosion of hugs and "hi's" greeted me. "Sophie, just in time! We weren't gonna start an epic game of truth or dare without you! Did you bring your boyfriend?" asked Biana. "Boyfriend?" questioned Fitz, raising one eyebrow. I let my hair fall in front of my face as I tugged out an eyelash. Biana bit her bottom lip, clearly realizing what she'd spilled. Actually, everyone in the room looked surprised. "Um... I can ask him if he wants to come," I mumbled, clumsily pulling out my phone.

Sophie: Hey Keefe, wanna come to my friend's house for a sleepover? We're playing T or D.

Keefe: On my way! Address?

Sophie: *types the Vacker's house address but you don't get to know -w-*

Keefe: Kay, see you there ❤️

"Okay, he's coming," I stated. "His name's Keefe by the way." Everyone nodded. I exhaled loudly. Way to make everything awkward, Biana. "Do you guys have all the sleeping plans sorted out?" I asked. "What sleeping plans? We're gonna sleep?" teased Biana. I rolled my eyes. This was going to be a long night. Suddenly, there was a gentle knock on the door. "Come in!" we all exclaimed simultaneously. A handsome figure with tousled blond hair and icy blue eyes stepped through. I smiled and got up to greet him. His strong arms wrapped around me, and I almost forgot we weren't alone. I noticed his smile wasn't as vibrant as usual. His gaze followed past my shoulder and his eyes widened. "Bangs boy?! Linh?!" he exclaimed. I looked over at the Song twins. Linh was biting her bottom lip and blushing. Tam was giving Keefe the death glare. I had no idea they knew each other.
