Its 8 AM in summer break. Gabby wakes up, opens her window and goes downstairs. Her mom isnt home, she is at work, like always, gabby is used to it by now. Her mom is Dolores Jane Umbridge, she works as a Senior Undersecretary at the Ministry of Magic so she is gone most of the time. Gabby has never met her father so she just goes as Gabby Umbridge. as Gabby has breakfast she receives a letter, its from hogwarts! she is going to hogwarts! 'Oh my- YES' Gabby says excitedly. Gabby jumps up and down and starts dancing.
'gabby calm down please.' the maid says. 'almost everyone gets a letter from hogwarts,'
'yeah, i know but i'm still very happy!' Gabby says. the maid laughs 'ok if u say so.'
Gabby goes upstairs and packs her stuff for hogwarts but then remembers thats school starts in september, so she stops and puts her stuff back. her mom is back, 'Hi mom look im going to Hogwarts!!' Gabby says happily.
'Ok and now?' Umbridge says.
'ar- arent u proud of me?' Gabby stutters.
'Why should i be proud of you? It isnt that hard getting into hogwarts gabby.' Umbridge laughs.
'o- oh o-ok.' gabby gets a little upset and goes upstairs. the maid came and said: 'i told you gabby.' she rolls her eyes as Gabby goes into her room and cries. Dolores comes in, 'Gabby are u crying? Again?' she asks.
'n- no.' Gabby answers. Dolores gives her a cookie and gabby laughs, 'enjoy ur vacation' Dolores says and smiles.
