Gabby Umbridge and Hogwarts

04 - the sorting ceremony

at hogwarts...

the train whistles.
'Yay we are here!' gabby cheers. The girls go off the train and they see hagrid.
'Hi Hagrid!' Dyshan, Kirsten and Angela yelled.
'Hagrid? who is he?' gabby asks.
'He is a gatekeeper at Hogwarts but me and angela knew him since we were little. he visited my house sometimes to see how i was doing but most of the time he comes when angela is at my house, so he is very nice.' Kirsten explains.
'I know him because he personally gave me my hogwarts letter!' Dyshan says.
'Ohh, he seems scary though..' gabby says.
'excuse me?' Angela shouted.
'call him scary again and i will jinx u.' kirsten said.  'oh.. uh.. sorry.' gabby apologized.

The 1st years go on the boats to the entrance and see Proffesor Mcgonagall.
'Oh i know her!' Kirsten said. while kirsten was talking Gabby noticed the two boys that she saw at the robestore, little blondie and .. she didn't have a name for the other one. Gabby thinks angela might have an idea who that boy is, she would love to know.

'Angela do u know him?' gabby asks.
'Who?' Angela replies.
'That boy with the blond hair.' Gabby answers.
'Him? oh He is draco Malfoy he is my bestfriend. our parents are good friends, kirstens mom was also friends with his mom and my mom, that's how i know them both. but why did u ask? Do u have a crush on him?' Angela joked.
'No- May- No!' Gabby stutters.
'sure.' Angela answers back.
'she definitely has a crush on him.' Angela whispers to kirsten when they look at eachother they laugh.

'And who is that other guy talking to him? the one with glasses.' gabby asks.
'Oh! thats my brother, Harry Potter. we didn't meet each other until this summer. he lived with his muggle aunt and uncle, so i didnt grow up with him.' kirsten responded.
'why doesnt he live with you?' gabby asks.
'uh.. thats none of your business!' Kirsten said annoyed. angela looks at kirsten and rolls her eyes.  'oh ok- wait- OMG ur brother is Harry Potter! the boy who lived!' gabby said suprised.
'yeah.' Kirsten said.
'duh.' angela followed.

'Now, come with me!' said Professor mcgonagall.
they stood in front of the entrance at the great hall but it was closed so they couldn't see.
'welcome to hogwarts.' mcgonagall starts. 'now in a few moments you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. but before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. they are gryffindor, hufflepuff, ravenclaw and slytherin.'

'i want to be in slytherin' Gabby whispers to Dyshan.
Dyshan nods back and whispers: 'i wanna be in ravenclaw.'
McGonagall continues: 'now while your here, your house will be like your family. your triumphs will earn you points, any rule breaking and you will lose points.'
Angela and Kirsten smirk at eachother.
'at the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded with the house cup-' McGonagall gets disturbed.
'TREVOR!' neville shouts. 'sorry..'
'sorting cermony will begin momentarily.' McGonagall says as she walks away.

Gabby noticed Angela whispering something into Dracos ear, then into Kirstens ear then all 3 laugh a bit. so Angela was right, they knew little blondie Gabby had an advantage already knowing Angela, maybe she could help her get closer to him.

'we're ready for you now, follow me.' McGonagall says as They went to the great hall.
'WOAH! look how big this is and look! up there are stars!' gabby said. Angela and kirsten look at eachother and laugh again.
'Now when i call ur name, u will get sorted in your houses.'
'i am definitely a slytherin, like my parents.' Angela said.
'same' kirsten and Gabby said in sync. angela glares at Gabby.

'Dyshan!' said Professor Mcgonagall. she went up and sat down. 'RAVENCLAW!' the sorting hat yelled.
Dyshan smiled and sat down at the ravenclaw table.  'Kirsten Potter!' said Professor mcgonagall. after she went up and sat down 'SLYTHERIN!' shouted the sorting hat. she walked to the slytherin table and sat down.
'Angela Miller! said Professor mcgonagall. she went up and sat down. 'SLYTHERIN!' said the sorting hat.  she smiled and went to the slytherin table.

'Gabby Umbridge!' said Professor Mcgonagall after she went up and sat down 'HUFFLEPUFF' said the sorting hat, she frowned and went to the hufflepuff table.
'Draco Malfoy!' said Professor mcgonagall. after he went up and sat down. while draco went up all gabby could think about was wanting draco in hufflepuff so they could be together. 'SLYTHERIN!' the sorting hat said.
Gabby was sad as she looked over to the slytherin table she saw Angela, Kirsten and Draco laughing she felt so jealous.

after dinner it was time to go to the common rooms. Gabby goes to the hufflepuff common room while she sees Angela, Kirsten and Draco go another way to the slytherin common room she feels sad. she walks into the common room and her first thoughts are "wow" this place isn't bad at all, it's very cozy. Gabby likes it here. when she goes to the girls dormitory she sees all her stuff is already there, it's been a long day and she is tired so she goes to sleep.

meanwhile in the slytherin common room...

'so draco,' Angela starts. 'Gabby Umbridge has a thing for you.'
'she definitely has a crush on you, when we were on the boats she got all nervous when we mentioned your name.' Kirsten laughs.
'who is Gabby Umbridge?' Draco asks.
'did you see that girl we were walking with, that got sorted into hufflepuff?' Kirsten asks.
'her? i think i saw her at the robe store.' Draco says. 'she was staring at me.'

Angela starts laughing. 'oh she's all over you, when we were at the boats she asked us who "the blonde guy" is, she was definitely interested.'
'so what do you think of her, draco?' Kirsten asks.
'i don't like her, she's a halfblood do you know her mom? dolores umbridge.' Draco says.
'oh yeah, we will just get to know her a little, if you know what i mean.' Kirsten says.
