"Hey Per - "
"HOLY - "
People really need to stop jump scaring Percy, especially in the middle of charms. 20 heads shot towards him immediately at the sound and he blushed crimson.
"Um, not the best time Wise Girl,"
"Oh yes, I didn't notice that before,"
Annabeth smiled sarcastically before waving her hand through the mist and disappearing with Iris Message. Professor Flitwick stared at the spot for a good second before turning to face Percy with a bewildered stare.
"That is a remarkable piece of magic young man, you'll have to teach me later, I've never seen it in my life!"
"Oh,"
He didn't think that was allowed.
"Sure, later,"
But he also had no idea how to say no.

Navja was walking to the common room with Percy, "Who was that girl? I didn't get to see her properly,"
Percy looked at her, "Annabeth, my girlfriend,"
Navja briefly remembered someone asking him about that when he first came to the school, "Oh yeah, I forgot you had a love life,"
"Excuse me?" Percy asked in mock offence, "Am I that unattractive?"
Navja laughed and shook her head, "Oh that's definitely not true. You know you were voted one of the most attractive guys in Hogwarts by the press team this week,"
"Hogwarts has a Press Team?"
"This is their first year," she told him, "Parvati Patil wanted to make one in their fifth year when everyone was spreading rumours about Harry. She was in the DA, you know? But then Dumbledore left and she wasn't about to ask Umbridge,"
"And what about the sixth year? That year wasn't so bad, except when Dumbledore died," Percy ran a hand through his hair, "That wasn't that good,"
"Yeah," the corner of her mouth twitched upwards a bit, "But she and Astoria made a truce and then they got permission to make one. It's pretty good you should read it. They like to flatter people,"
"People like mysterious American exchange students?"
Navja grinned, "Yeah, but make one wrong move and you're done for,"
"I thought people weren't interested in me anymore," he looked at her again, "Its not like anything interesting has happened since I came here,"
A picture of Lamia flickered in her head, but she pushed it away just as quick, "Oh yeah, but you're hot so you'll attract attention,"
"Hot?"
She smiled mischievously, "To quote the Hogwarts Times, you're 'smoking hot,'"
Percy glanced away and laughed nervously, "I'm just going to ignore that for now,"

Annabeth called Percy again three hours after the class when he was eating lunch.
In front of everyone.
Her honey-blonde hair was in two french braids and she was standing there awkwardly in his old sweater, "Can we talk now?"
She had already attracted tons of attention when the mist appeared beside him and everyone was already looking their way. Percy glanced around and then back at her, "Is this a private conversation?"
