Recurring dreams

Narrator's pov

I was walking the beach I heard someone screaming "help help"

I ran over to a bunch of fishnets that were moving and untangled them to find the worlds most beautiful specimen he had the most gorgeous face in the world when I looked at his hands they were webbed like a frog's foot and I looked further down and there was a fish tale I looked back up he bit his lip i can not believe i came across a mermen

He asked in the most Innocent voice "please take me back to the ocean"

So I picked him up and took him into the ocean when the water was near my man breast i looked him in the eyes his hands went on my face and he kissed me passionately but i had to let him go

Then i woke up in my lonely bed i got up got ready for work so i headed to the gym where i work as a personal trainer I kept an eye out for any misbehaving especially with those teen boys who tend to break the equipment by accident since I'm the type of guy who lets things slide i pay for the damage so when my shift was over i got home went for a shower worked out in my underwear then got dressed and drove to the bar which is my second job a bartender so while i was working a regular came in

I raised an eyebrow and asked "the usual Joshdub"

He nodded and there was another guy with him

He said "Grant this is my bf Mully. Mully my favorite bartender Grant Mystery"

Me and Mully shook hands then i grabbed a wet glass that was in the dish washer and started drying it

Josh asked "so Grant out of curiosity are you still having that same dream with the mermen"

I nodded put the glass on the bench and said "yea it's driving me up the walls"

Mully said "did u know if u have the same dream more then once its ur Brian telling u something"

I said "well its not like mermaids or mermen are real"

Then a spanish accent saying "sure about that amigo cause latly there have sightings of dragons flying in the clouds couple weeks ago"

Mully said "I saw it with my own eyes and took photos"

Pulled out his phone and showed me the pictures and indeed they looked real it had massive wing span of at least 20 meters and it had a body of a snake and a head of a cobra and its legs looked like they came from an alligator the colours were rainbow

Mully said "these dragons only come out during pride month but it is a weird sight to see them out during October"

My eyes could not process what I just saw

That same spanish guy said "you know fairys have obviously been spotted in the parks gardens"

I agreed and he continued "yea a unicorn was spotted couple of times near farms and the town lake"

Josh added "don't forget near the local horse stables"

I asked the spanish guy "so how do u know about these sightings"

He reached to his pocket in and said "I'm eddie and I..."

Pulled out his badge and continued "I am part of the mythical creature research so Mr. Mystery there could be hope of finding mermaids especially that mermen that was in your dreams"

I asked "eves dropping"

He replied "well someone from here told me about people talking about mermaids and i had to come and see what the fuss was about"

I nodded understandingly

He said "maybe one day we might go diving and see if we can find mermaids and grant..."

His eyes were on me he said "we could find that merman that is in your dreams"
