Don't look back - Horror stories not for the faint of heart-

ghost in the window

Next to my school, there's an abandoned factory,I passed it every weekday to go to school.

As soon as the factory closed down, it didn't take long for rumors to start.

"did you hear about the ghost in the window?"

"I heard that of you stare into the window for 20 seconds, the ghost pulls you in and you die the way it died!"

The rumors spread all over the school like a forest fire, what started as a whisper, ended as a conversation. One day during lunch me and my friends started a conversation of the ghost in the window.

"how come Tommie's not here today?" said Isaac - my best mate

"the ghost probably got 'I'm"said sally

" oh don't start that" I said rolling my eyes 

"why ya'll too scared?" Said daisy creasing up with laughter

At this point I started walking away because when daisy started, she didn't stop, whether it was for a week or even for a year daisy wouldn't stop talking about it, but this time, it was different.

"wait!,"daisy called out "I'll give you a deal!"

At this point I stopped walking and took a glance at her, she was reaching out to me with a smirk on her face, all signs told me not to trust her, but for some reason I felt a thrill in it.

"if you don't wanna deal, then I can just tell the school how much of a scaredy cat you are"

She said with a creepy smile that always sent shivers down my spine.

"Fine! What's this so called deal of yours?!" I said-my eyes blaring with anger.then she scratched her chin, trying to think of something horrible for me to do.

"How 'bout..,"she started "you have to go to the factory and stare into the window for one whole minute.." she said as a cheezey grin spread all over her face

"WHAT! No way!" I shouted

"Comon mate,it a'nt that hard, i mean I'd just do it and get it over with and be on with my day."

Said Isaac

"Yeah! It'll be easy!" Said Sally

At this point i was wondering what i was doing in this stupid group anyway when the bell for the end of lunch rang

"Better make your mind up! Time is ticking!" Said daisy as she walked away laughing

At the end of the school day daisy catched up with me.

"So, made your mind up yet?" Saying it really loud so that the whole school could hear

"Shh! Yes! I have!" Quickly looking around to make sure no one was looking

"Great!," she said and beckoned the others to come "guys! Looks like zack's made his mind up!"

"Yeah." I mumbled "I'm gonna do it " as soon as i said that, i felt like someone was watching me, not on of my so-called- friends but some one i've never seen before, it made me shiver.

"great! would you mind if we came with you? to make sure you do it properly?"  said daisy. The chill was really starting to get to me and before i could stop myself i said " wait!..urm, do you mind if i bring my stuff back home before i go and do this?" i don't know why but i just felt that there was something wrong... very wrong.

Running down the road to my house, i saw a moving van and an ambulance, i was in front of the ambulance when i saw it, a word on the front window saying... help me and You can't make me leave , ignoring the doctors and police i went into the front hall of my house and nearly passed out- all over the walls there was the same words;Help me, you can't make me leave  written in a red substance . on the steps, father was shaking and a doctor was repeatedly trying to calm him down.

as soon as the doctor saw me he told me that i should'nt be in here and should be with the neighbor, i was too shaken to even say anything but  i still left,however,things just made it worse when i came out of the house and my mother - who was in a straight jacket - stood in front of me and whispered

HELP ME...  then she screamed at the top of her voice 

YOU CAN'T MAKE ME LEAVE THIS HOUSE! EVER!
