I woke up in what seemed to be a tarp, covering a car, and my clothes were now different. The sky was blue and there was a strange sand around everything. "You finally went to sleep?" I saw a guy who was tall and had slicked back hair smiling at me. "I only have a little time, but the other girls are safe." I was confused "What? Where am I?" The guy chuckled "You'll get the hang of this soon. The first time I did this, I faded in and out." He chuckled, and smiled. "Rest well."

I woke up in a cold sweat, breathing hard and with tears in my eyes. Jaemin was on the bunk across from me, in another bunk knocked out. The room was dark, so I assumed it was midnight. "Morning." I turned and almost jumped out of my skin, Chenle scared the crap out of me. "Sorry, I just noticed you were awake." I smiled nodding. "So...do you want to get water or something? Turns out the kitchen has food in it." I smiled and nodded. I felt like what I had just seen was so...real, but it was a dream of all things. There was no way it wasn't just a fluke. The other boys seemed to be sleeping just fine except for me and Chenle, so it was likely just me.

Walking down the halls of a semi abandoned orphanage is not the most fun thing to do, especially at night. Chenle and I were quiet, he seemed as though he wanted to say something, but was holding back. "You know you can just go ahead and ask right?" Chenle jumped from me finally saying something,"I don't know why I blacked out, but I can tell you want to ask something." The blonde boy was shocked, he probably was surprised I said anything.''I wanted to know what your...ya know....abilities are?" Chenle said, his voice's volume getting quieter with each pause. "Well, we don't really know for sure. We just know I can basically break into someone's mind. They don't know if its mind control or something...more dangerous." I Remembered the terrified look on my grandmother's face when I uttered that word, but I shook it off. "Oh." Chenle obviously detected something was wrong, but acted like it was fine. "You?" I asked, hoping to break the ice a little. "Well, the short answer would be water." He chuckled. "Although, mine was tailored more to tsunamis and flooding than things like blending small amounts of water." He chuckled. But I could see he was remembering something painful too, as his eyes shook as he tried to laugh it off. "So, um...Jeno is a little..." "Scary? Yeah, he is a little mean at first. He is just trying to make sure nothing happens to us." I nodded. Chenle was relatively taller than me like the rest of the boys, but he reminded me of my classmate from home. "The kitchen should be down the stairs a little past the floyer." Chenle walked in front of me down the narrow set of winding stairs. The footsteps were loud in the empty place, and the steps creaked under us each time we moved. Chenle and I finally made it down to the floyer when we heard a strange amount of movement from the door. Chenle looked at me with wide eyes, and pulled me across the floyer as fast as he could. Chenle looked absolutely terrified, his eyes were wide, and I could see that they were now swirling with blue. "Crap, there isn't a lot of water around here." he muttered. Chenle and I both heard the door bust down and I gasped. There was what seemed like a ranger, holding a giant energy gun, except the gun looked so primitive. And required a giant battery pack to be on him. "We need to get to the room and go to the house. We can figure out what we need to do from there." I nodded, but I didn't know how. We were going to get back upstairs, get the guys. "Kay, so whatever you can do, I need you to just try it." Chenle pleaded, the guy was inching closer and closer to us. "I-" "Its self defense, us or him?"

Chenle and I ran for our lives, as the rapid footsteps of the man seemed to be catching up to us. I felt like we had woken up the boys by now, but I couldn't know for sure until we got out of here. When we finally made it to the right floor, I saw the guys all in the hall. "What is happening? Jeno asked, he looked angry and scared, but reached out and grabbed Chenle. "We can't explain right now, we need to get to the captain's house." I pleaded, Jaemin looked the most worried for me but I could almost guarantee that Jeno was cursing me out in his head. We kept running down the hall, hurriedly running down the stairs.

The ground outside of the place was hard compared to the snow I left in, but that wasn't the only weird part. It was the fact that the Captian's house, was no longer there. But, we had to keep running, or I knew for a fact that we would be caught and hunted. The woodland was harsh on my skin, the branches It scratched up my clothing and hair. The boys were running slightly in front of me, we all tried to not look back.

By the time we stopped running, we were in the thick of the woods. It was near sunrise, and we had made it to a clearing near a lake. "What happened back there?!" Mark asked Chenle and I, he was breathing hard, and looked panicked. "We-We went to get water and somehow..." "Somehow they knew we were around." Mark seemed ghostly white, he looked to me and Chenle. "Jade, is this true?" I nodded, and Jeno seemed to catch onto why Mark looked so ghostly white. "Okay, did you try enabling him?" "I did, but as far as I know it will..." Jaemin scrunched up his face in an uncomfortable way. "You didn't kill him because you did that before...didn't you?"  I swallowed uncomfortably. "I...My brain....When I tried to do it...He was..." I felt like my brain was being overloaded and I just fell. Jaemin was doing something at this point, with a very determined look on his face. 'Tell me everything.'
