Ms. Kim, a Korean woman with short hair, forces us to stay long after the rest of the students are gone from school. "Now where are your brothers?" She started off, her demeanor was rigid and her lips were pursed together into a straight line. She was annoyed. "Well, those four are strange, so there is no telling why they are the way they are." Chenle spoke up, he was calm but open, his demeanor clashed with hers and made him seem as though he was joking likely. "That's not a good answer. You might have been here for almost a week and I have had yet to see your four brothers in class, but their attendance is perfect. So I want to know what the heck is happening here. I'm not crazy." Jisung and I looked at each other for a possible guide of what to say. "Look, you are going to stay here until four. If you don't give me some kind of-" "Ms. Kim?" A tall, spout male with a shining bald head knocked on the door frame. "I found four students sneaking around the science room." He moved slightly to reveal a rather annoyed looking Jeno, worried Mark, nervous Renjun, scared looking Jaemin, and an Angry Haechan. "Since you were already having detention, I figured I could bring these kids in here. Boys, take a seat." He nodded to her and walked away once he saw the boys weren't going to try and go anywhere. "Okay, so where have you four been this week." The teacher obviously knew they were her four missing students.''well, Renjun had left his project in the-'' Mark started, but the teacher cut him off, "For FOUR days?!" I had never actually seen Mark shrink into a chair, but I guess there was a first time for everything. "Ugh. You know what? I am not having four students fail my class. You all will be having a project to make up your grades. A car project." She pulled out a poster, taking tape to put it onto the chalk board behind her. And there was a cardboard car decorated cutely. "You will have two weeks to do this. If you don't do it, you fail the semester. And this will be the ONLY thing you will work on during school hours and after school hours to make up for the day you missed." She explained and turned to the board. "You are also going to present how you got it to work." She wrote in clean, neat letters, each was curly and swift looking. "I'll go and print out some things for you to use and we'll get started."
I had been drawing for what felt like hours before the teacher told us it was time for us to go home. We all eagerly nodded before heading outside of the school. "Well, what do you all want to eat?" Jaemin asked, he had a credit card on him that was universal or something. Either way, it was in his pocket and we knew it had money on it as we had been using it the entire time we had been in this time. "Let's just get take out and be done." Jeno muttered, he was still down about the fact that they were caught today. "Yeah I guess so. Also, we should buy snacks." Mark chimed in, and he was right. There was only so much Lay could do with this technology. We had to feed ourselves where we could. Oh course, due to Mark's little phone thing, we could easily shirt the realities we were in to make it as though we looked completely normal to some people, and it also was able to make us invisible to everyone else when we needed it as well.
The guys and I stayed at a place Jisung had erected from the ground on a plot of land, mostly so we would have an address to stay at, while Jaemin would force anyone who came near the property to see a mansion from what I could assume. But this place was a small, cave like home with one room. We would sneak into the nearby 24 hour fitness at night and wash up, then we would eat at a local place and do our homework at the library and sleep in the one room house, Haechan was in the middle simply because he was like a warm pillow. Fun fact about Haechan, his body temperature was 100, and when he is sick it will rise to 200. I slept the closest to Haechan, back to back, while the other guys were able to sleep more comfortably with each other due to the fact that they were all boys. I felt a little odd sleeping with a bunch of guy in the same bed, and it wasn't like Mark made it any less awkward. He forced all of the boys to give me a certain amount of space while doing anything and they all had to treat me like I was fragile. While I get that I was new and that was part of the reason, I still felt rather awkward about it. For instance, while we were eating this evening, Jaemin must have found I was still hungry (mind reading I guess) and he told Mark, who promptly forked over half of his fries that he wasn't eating while scolding me about how I needed to tell him when I was still hungry. Mark also tried to help with my hair as much as possible despite me knowing how to do it on my own. Haechan told me it was because Mark wanted a sister when he was younger and I was probably the closest he would get to one. Which I thought was endearing, and it caused me to suck it up about Mark trying to do my hair every morning no matter how much he messed up. Speaking of Haechan, I noticed he was moving much more tonight. I sat up and looked at the older boy to see his face twisting in discomfort, and his cheeks being flushed. I reached out to try and wake him up, but when I felt sucked in.
