the busters spent a good 20 minutes in their base after jihoon used his summon.
"i know right, the soonhoon couple and verkwan couple was just chilling! while we're here being serious in the game." chan complained, while the others (except two, of course) agreed.
the two mentioned that was present did not care, and was shamelessly cuddling in the far end of the seats.
"shouldn't we be talking about how we could capture the mice?" minghao opens up the topic.
"well, we trust you with capturing junhui, hao." seungcheol stated, making the chinese blush.
"yeah, just like that hao, and jun would come running towards you." jeonghan adds, making him blush more, earning fits of laughter from the whole group.
"20 minutes is up! busters, deploy." the loud announcement once again blared.
"i better see you two searching for the mice right now." jeonghan scolds seungkwan and vernon, to which they just giggled at.
"sure, hyung."
"let's go!" the group splits into three teams, reassured that soonyoung and jihoon would be together once again.
minghao, just as planned, was set to search for junhui, together with vernon and seungkwan.
"hyung, where do you think jun-hyung is hiding at?" vernon asked.
"why are you asking me that? how would i know?"
"i mean, you're boyfriends, aren't you?" vernon teased, successfully making his hyung blush.
"s-stop that!" minghao exclaimed. he isn't that comfortavle yet with talking about him and junhui's relationship, as they just have become official weeks ago.
"nonie, stop it. let's just search for jun-hyung, okay?" seungkwan scolded.
the three searched inside the buildings for jun.
jun, on the other hand, is silently staying under the stack covered with something. inside, he had the time to take a look back at everything that happened between him and minghao.
he was the one to confess first, in mandarin, after pining on his fellow chinese for years. it was hard, and jun could remember how his heart was about to burst while waiting for minghao's answer. he could remember how much he panicked when he saw minghao crying. he immediately went to hug the latter, and that's when he heard his answer. amidst the tears, minghao answered yes, in mandarin. jun couldn't contain his happiness that he bursted also in tears and spun minghao around.
then they were filled with laughters upon seeing the other members utterly confused on what's happening.
now that they're together, jun got to know minghao more, and how he's so tricky almost all the time. but he wouldn't have it any other way. minghao is also shy about talking in public about their relationship, and jun completely understands that. even if between the two of them, jun is seen more as a shy person, he doesn't care what people say about them, what he cares about is what minghao feels. so he understands.
in the middle of his sappy moment, jun heard some rustle near where his hiding. he tensed up, and readied himself to sprint the moment the cover goes up.
"i'm pretty sure huihui will hide under something like this." avoice spoke, and jun instantly knew who is it. nobody calls him huihui other than his hao.
minghao checks under the covers, believing that the other two is doing the same.
"huihui hyung, i know you're here." he moves on to another stack, and raising the covers, he was met by his boyfriend grinning at him.
"huihui! vernon, seungkwan, i found him!" he called out to his teammates.
jun ran out immediately, and minghao followed suit.
"vernon! seungkwan!" he called out again. but nobody is answering.
"aish, those kids really.."
he chased after junhui, but the latter is much faster than him. they played a game of tag, turning on corners, entering buildings, it tired minghao out but he still ran after his boyfriend.
"why wouldn't he slow down for his boyfriend?" minghao complained. "wait, i know what i'll do." he smirked.
jun ran as fast as he could, he wanted to stop because he can see his hao getting exhausted, but he knows minghao would not like that.
"aaaaa!" he heard minghao yelled, and when he turned his back he sees the guy laying in the ground.
extremely worried, he immediately ran to his side.
"oh my! are you okay, hao?"
minghao kept the painful expression he had on, but deep inside he was grinning. oh how he just love this guy so much.
"i'm okay, huihui."
"are you sure? does it hurt anywhere? did you sprain your leg? should we get some help-"
"huihui, no need for that." he caress the latter's cheeks, while reaching for something from his back pocket.
"are you sure as in sure?"
"positive babe. what you could help me with rather is.."
"is?"
"this." and in a blink of an eye, a water ballon filled with green liquid bursted on the white part of junhui's clothing.
as the older is processing what just happened, minghao grapped the chance to color the remaining parts. jun realized and covered his tummy, but it was too late.
"hey! you tricked me!" jun complained, disappointed that he was the first mouse to be caught.
"aw, huihui. don't worry i'll make you feel better."
"really? how-" he didn't finished his question because minghao leaned in to place a chaste kiss on his lips.
"feel better now, huihui?" jun smiled, knowing that minghao just became confident enough to kiss him in public.
"are you fine kissing me in public? well, its not like there are many people here, but still, we're not inside our room and i don't want you to feel uncomfortable-" he was cut off once again by another kiss. he could get use to this.
"huihui, i know i'm not yet comfortable enough to show our relationship in public, but please know that if its you, i would never feel uncomfortable, okay?"
junhui smiled, and engulfed minghao in a hug.
"i love you, haohao."
"i love you, too, huihui."
"so, what now?" junhui asked.
minghao fired his water gun, coloring the one tiny spot he missed.
"hey!"
"huihui, it's the cage for you."
"be glad i love you or else.."
"i know, huihui, now to the cage!"
