"Are you sure you want to do this?" Remus asked for probably the millionth time, as he and Christy trekked across the grounds towards the quidditch pitch.

"Yes Rem, I need to get back in the air, It's only Ravenclaw, it'll be fine." she reassured him.

It was December the 7th, and the whole incident hadn't been mentioned at all throughout the group, it was almost as if it had never happened. Thankfully, the weather was deemed much kinder than the previous match's had been, but still, nerves were eating away at Christy. The last game she'd played at, she'd broken two ribs. Not very confidence boosting, but she was determined to play.

"You're such a worry wizard." She grinned cheekily at Remus, who just rolled his eyes.
"It's called caring. Give it a try some time" he retorted.
"Ah! Your words sound me!" she clutched at her chest dramatically.
"You." he pointed an accusing finger as her, "Are turning into Sirius."
"I resent that!" she cried, skipping ahead.
"Come back here!" Remus yelled, chasing her.
"Never! Whooo- umph" she groaned between giggles as the two tangled up and tripped, rolling down the hill.

"Ah." she gazed up at the clouds in the sky, sighing.

Propping themselves up on their elbows, icy blue, met swirling hazel for a fraction of a second.
"Rem-" Christy began, before being cut off as a pair of lips crashed against her own.

At first, she was shocked, but she soon melted into the kiss. His hand found hers, and they interlocked, as pieces of a puzzle. When they finally separated, red faced and gasping for breath, she smiled softly.
"Wow."
"yeah" he replied.

"AND GRYFFINDOR WINS!" the commentator cried into the megaphone, as the red and gold stands erupted into thunderous cheers and applauds.

Christy flailed her beaters bat around, grinning from ear to ear, zooming around the pitch along side Sirius, before descending onto the grass with an ungraceful bump. Only to be met with a smothering hug from behind.

"You were amazing." Remus sighed. Letting her go so she could turn to face him.

She smiled once more, flinging her arms around his neck in a bone-crushing embrace. When she finally released, she turned to see Sirius carelessly slung on James back in piggy-back style, laughing and waving his bat round his head like a lasso. Beside them, Lily, Alice, Dorcas and Marlene all stood, chuckling at his antics.
