𓂀 9:30pm The next day
"Vampires?" Mike said unfazed as he wrapped his dark soft pink lips around his straw and began drinking his sprite before pulling away, "really?" He finished unamused, Derek groaned in frustration, "YES! Why don't you believe me?!" He almost-yelled a little frustrated, Ofc Mike wouldn't believe something like that, it's absolutely crazy. And it seemed like his other friends didn't believe him either by the way they were looking at him.
Derek had told Mike, Kairi, Alvaro and Vallyk the whole story from start to finish as they sat in a restaurant waiting for their food. Vallyk was the only one that believed him because of how innocent the poor boy was but Mike, Kai and Alvo weren't buying it. "I-I believe him..." Vallyk said in a soft tone as he fidgeted with his fingers, kairi sighed and rolled his eyes, "Of course you do, you believe whatever comes out anyone's mouth Val." He said making Vallyk whimper and slide down in the booth to try and hide himself.
"Bruh- you know what fine! Fine. come over tonight and I'll fucking show you." Derek said crossing his arms, he didn't care if they didn't believe him he just prayed they'd agree to come over, he didn't wanna go back home alone now that he knew the truth about his new roommates. The only reason he got out of the house today was because he had classes but now that school hours were up he asked his friends to go out to eat just to spare some time.
"Fine." Mike said sighing, making Derek celebrate to himself. A couple minutes later their food arrives and they drooled at the sight and smell of the delectable food in front of them. They started eating and talking about random things like how school was going or about TikTok drama, just doing what normal friends would do.

After they were done they ordered an Uber and waited on the sidewalk for the car to pull up, the cool air brushing against their faces and any other body part not covered by their warm clothes. Dereks stomach started doing flips as he knew what awaited them at his apartment.
The Uber finally gets there and they all hope in, "where to?" The driver asked with a smile as he looked through his rearview mirror, Derek tells him the address and they pull off.
