I was pissed, my fists were clinched and I couldn't believe what Neon was telling us. "I never wanna see those assholes again." I growled as Mike rubs my back to comfort me. "You can't hate them forever D, they're your family after all.." Kairi spoke and I almost forgot about the lie.
I sighed and laid back on my bed, running my hand through my hair, "...I know.." Mike lays next to me and lays his head on my chest, along with Vallyk. I wasn't complaining, I needed this to be honest. It was calming.
We were all silent for a second until I broke it, "...why are you still friends with chase?" Neon knew I was asking him the question even if I wasn't looking at him, he was silent for a second but then began to speak, "I-I....because I l-like him..." we all shot up from the bed and looked at him in disbelief.
Kairi and Alvaro smirked at him as his face turned bright red, "really?" Mike asked with a eyebrow raised, he just nodded and looked down at the floor out of embarrassment, "I-I know nothings ever gonna change between us...h-he's homophobic...and we've been friends since kindergarten...a-and I don't wanna mess that up b-by telling him..." my heart melted at his words and I sat on the floor next to him.
I pulled him into a hug and he slowly started to break down, crying into my shoulder. "You should go check on him," kairi suggested, "I'm sure Mattia didn't go easy on him so maybe you should" Alvaro agreed, he whipped his tears and nodded. "O-ok...can you order m-me an Uber?" I nod and order the Uber.
A couple minutes later
The car beeps it's horn and Neon leave out the front door, waving at us as he leaves. I smile at him before closing the door and walking back to my room, "why do the sweet ones always go for the bad ones?" Mike asked shacking his head, "no clue, but I'm sure they'll be fine." I reply while sitting on the bed next to him.
Honestly I didn't know if they were gonna be ok afterwards if Neon some how musters up the courage to tell him, because Chase has always been homophobic, that's one of the main reasons he picked at me. Because he thought I was gay..
But sometimes people change, right?

It's been a couple days since then and reports of bodied being found have started to occur more and more. Most people stayed inside due to fear but some...some where dumb enough to leave the safety of their home.

Blood, brains and hair splattered on the concrete wall as the woman's head was crushed against it, Mattia rolled his eyes as he flicked his hand to get rid of the blood. At this point nun of them really cared if they were caught or not, they were infuriated. Their blood boiled. They needed to relive some stress before they took it out on each other, so they did what any pissed off monster would do.
Kill.
Whatever got in their way, a dog, a cat, a person, a child, an elder. They didn't care, it's like all their senses blew out the window, nun of them spoke, only acted. But in all honesty Mattia and Kobe were the most aggressive, at this very moment Kobe was strangling a kid for throwing a ball at him, it only hit his leg but that was enough to set him off.
The poor child clawed and scratched at Kobe's arms but he wouldn't let go, he loved watching the child squirm in his hands, struggling to breathe as his face turned purple, his grip only got tighter and tighter until-
Snap.
The boys body went cold as Kobe let it drop to the ground, the kids friend screaming for help but eventually Mattia got to him, and he didn't stand much of chance after that. They all walked off, leaving the bodies there as they went to find more victims.
Ale skipped down the empty street twirling his baseball bat that was covered with old rusty nails and blood, he had the creepiest expression on his face. The rest followed behind, their eyes glowing brightly in the night.

So many bodies....
So many littered the ground.....Women....children.....men....Dogs....Cats....Everything....
Blood covered every surface, painting everything a dark red, it was absolutely beautiful. But now that they were satisfied, they needed to leave. They needed to hide. They could hear the sirens ring as they got closer and closer, they snapped out of their trans and immediately ran for the car.
They hopped in and Roshaun sped off, hearing the sirens slowly start to fade away. "That...was fun" Ale said licking the blood from his grinning lips, Roshaun whipped the blood and sweat from his forehead with one hand still on the wheel, "where to now boss." He looked in the rearview mirror right at Mattia, the taller had a devilish smirk on his face.
"Let's go visit our dear old cousin."
