"Early modern human or anatomically modern human are terms used to distinguish Homo sapiens-" Its been a couple days sense that calming night, and everyone's been on high alert. Derek wasn't really bothered nor where his friends, they were all too busy doing their lackluster work while their teacher, who looked to be a hundred years old, blabbered about lord knows what. Half the class was basically asleep or silently talking and whispering to their friends.

Just one more hour before school ends and he could head home, or at least get out of hear. Mike noticed how annoyed and irritated the younger looked and it made him smirk, "Awh what's wrong? Did the poor wittle baby not get enough sweep?" Mike said in a taunting voice with a little grin on his face.
Derek just rolled his eyes and faced the teacher with his chin still on the desk, "I slept fine, I just don't wanna be here. Her classes are so fucking boring."
Mike chuckled a little at that and patted the younger back, "true, but it's almost over. Just fight the edge to run her into an early grave." The older said trying to hold back his laughs.
"Early? More like late." Kairi barged in with a scuff making Derek and Mike burst with euphoria, that caught everyone's attention including the teacher. "Is there something you'd like to share with the class Mr. Chong and Mr. Trendz?" She said in a annoying tone, causing both the boys to roll their eyes and lean back in their chairs. "No ma'am." They back said in unison, with the same annoyed tone.
Kairi and Alvaro snickered at the other two and they glared back as a response, "Awh do the poor baby wabbies not like being yelled at?" Alvo said tauntingly, "fuck off..." Mike mumbled under his breath, making Derek giggle a little.
"Whatever- we're going to Taco Bell later if you wanna come?" Alvo said looking at Derek, "oh uhm, I dunno. I might come, I don't really remember if I let Niko out this morning so I gotta check on him first." He said looking back down at his work, "you drove today?" Kai said raising an eyebrow, "yeah, didn't feel like riding the train." "Same-" Alvo and Mike said at the same time.
Kairi rolled his eyes, "I hate you guys." He mumbled under his breath, "hey, don't get mad at us for having cars and not you. And besides I drove you to school dipshit." Mike said rolling his eyes but chuckling when he saw the elders expression, he looked like a angry toddler.
