**Dedication**

I want to dedicate this chapter to gr3ycomputer for the help that she has given me since the start of this book. She has helped me write the chapters that you all are loving so much, if it weren't for her the chapters wouldn't be coming out for months at a time. She is a tremendous writer, a tremendous help and the co-author of this book. I am thankful for the help she has given me and she has actually brought back the passion I have for writing.

However, please remember that we are students first! Our academics are far more important than a book, so if school demands our attention then that is where our time will be spent. I, myself, am a college student and that is very time consuming as well as demanding. So please have patience when it comes to updates!

Anyway, enjoy the chapter! You all know what to do!

**Aria's POV**

The rest of the night is filled with laughter but I can constantly feel Xavier's gaze on me. I know being here with Mason bothers him because when I glance at him, without him knowing, his jaw clenches. The vein on his forehead pops out like when he had those headaches and would get a big mood swing in the office.

"Aria, I am so sorry about the comment from before. I didn't know." Marcia whispers in my ear as she grips my body tightly. Is it a national hug day? Don't get me wrong, I love hugs but this is exaggerated. We stand in the door frame of the entrance of the house about to leave as Mason continues to talk to his father about some sports game that I don't know about.

"Ancient history. It's perfectly fine. I am happy with my life, it just has always been my father, my brother, and I."

"Well, I hope I can meet them at the wedding." I hear Xavier scoff from behind her and glare.

"Ready, love?" Mason asks sweetly. His voice is kind unlike Xavier's which is deeper. Why are you comparing them? I bark at myself.

"Yeah, I just forgot my phone in the family room." He shakes his head and I walk over. I start to look for it on the spot where I was seated and I wasn't there. I bend down to check in between the cushions. Without even turning around I can feel his eyes watching my ass.

"Can I help you, Xavier?" I speak coldly and continue looking.

His shadow gets closer and I fix my posture. Without looking back I move to the dining room where we were seated.

"We didn't get to talk." His voice is seductive and serious at the same time.

"Did I look like I wanted to talk to you?" I squat down to check under the table and find nothing. I grab the purse wrapped around my body and start to dig through that. "Where is that damn phone?" I whisper to myself. I can hear his breathing get closer but try to pretend he isn't there.

"You mean this phone?" Just that phrase forces my head to look at him.

I see a cream colored phone in his clutch. I charge toward it without saying anything but he raises it higher. Why do I have to be short? I start to jump against his body trying to reach it when I feel him harden against me.

"Really Xavier?! You are engaged." I try not to say loudly but I step back.

A smirk emerges on his face and he looks me in the eyes. His blue eyes are captivating, but those are the same blue eyes that looked me into the eyes that night and still tried to force me to do something I didn't want to. I thank my lucky stars that I was able to give myself to someone who actually loved me and didn't want me just because of my body.
