The sun was lower now. A mist began crawling down from the mountains in the distance. The girl turned to head home when she saw a shadow moving among the tress. Intrigued, she walked towards it. As she came around a tree the gold rays of the sunset revealed the most beautiful boy she had ever seen. She slowly walked towards him from behind until she was close enough to catch his scent in the breeze. He was watching the sunset and letting the breeze blow through him. She'd never seen a boy so free.

Startled he turned around when he felt the touch of a soft, warm hand on his shoulder. The most beautiful girl he had ever seen was standing in front of him. Big eyes filled with wonder and silky hair dancing to the rhythm of the breeze. He looked into her eyes as she lifted her hand and reached out to him. Mesmerized by her he reached out and locked hands with her. At their touch the wind burst, leaves flurried, grass danced and the mist swirled around them.

'Hello boy.'

'Hello girl.'

It was almost magical.

They looked into each other's eyes and listened to the wind sing the song of the rose.

String quartet and all.

Truly magical.
