It had been a year since Jamison fawkes had been brought to the...facility? Research laboratory? I dunno lets just call it the lab for short. Anyways it had been a year in the facility
And jamison was currently in his fathers office/lab scribbling nonsense on to a pice of blank paper while his father worked while trying his best to keep an eye on the child."Watcha drawin there bud?" The tall man asked as he walked over to him. He glanced at the picture seeing it was a crudely drawn butterfly."Whats that jamie?" He asked the small child "izza buttefwy dad!" The toddler exclaimed proudly."do you like butterflys jamie?" He asked his son."yep!"he chucled at his enthusiasm as he remembered something he had. He got up and walked over to his bookshelf and picked up a large paper cover book before walking back to his son."here ya go buddy!" He said. Jamie carefully picked up the large book and examined the cover
It read types of butterflys and were to find them."buttefwy?" He asked with big sparkling eyes." Yes! Butterfly-" he said before he was interupted by doctor Adrian molohov, the captain of the project. He always had a certain hatred for Jamison and didn't bother to hide it." Its time for number 302's testing" the man snapped at doctor fawkes." O-oh...just...don't hurt him to bad ok?" Doctor fawkes pleaded. The shorter man snagged the tall doctor getting dangerously close to his face." I will do whatever I please. That thing is not human and you need to stop treating it as such." "Y-yes sir..." the kind doctor said stuttering in fear of his boss.
3 hour later
" doctor kris fawkes to the testing lab, doctor kris fawkes to th testing lab." The intercom said.
the doctor sighed before begrudgingly walking to the testing lab. He always hated that lab as they would put not only his son but all the other mutants through extreme stress and pain. He just hoped his little jamie wouldn't be as fatally wounded as usual. To his surprise his son was only hooked up to a heart moniter with a cup of apple juice. Oh. He knew what that juice is. Immortality apple juice. He still wasn't sure why his boss named it that. The juice is exactly what it sounds like, it stops the aging of mutants in their twenties and if they get injured they can still feel pain but the can regenerate in less than ten minutes. The can also reattach limbs to the body should they lose them, though it sometimes doesn't work at first but it usually works smoothly. Perfect for the super soldiers the boss wants to make out of the mutants. The reason for the heart moniter is because when the first test batch of immortality apple juice was givin out, the children would temporarily flat line.Jamie was happily sipping on the juice as it was the sweetest thing he had ever tasted. He also knew what the juice tasted like as well, as it was mandatory for the best scientists to take it. The only reason mr molohov hasn't had it is because the head of the government hasn't allowed him to have the juice until he finished the project, though he is allowed to take somethingthat only stops him from aging, so he is still susceptible to damage or death. He knew what the juice ment. It was finally time to train his strength and powers. He already knew what jamies powers were as mutant children always let out short bursts of accidental power. He once worked with a young girl in his early twenties who had the power of mind control. One time she asked a gaurd to go outside, he of course refused, but the girl then looked him dead in the eye and demanded to go outside, he then without a word escorted her outside until the gaurd snapped out of it and dragged her back inside by the hair.
That girl is eternally twenty seven now and always wears a blind fold unless she needs to train, or go back to the battle field.
Jamie had the power of fire, he knew this as when jamie was two he left trails of fire everywhere he walked before kris taught him to control it.He hopes it won't get worse. But he already know it will
