Maximus sat at home, tapping on his bedroom desk. He was in his childhood room, where much of his childhood things remained. He picks up an old notebook, opening it slowly.

Inside, there were writings of his about school, his unique bloodline, and even things about his father. He sighs, closing it, turning away from it. He stands to leave his room, stopping at the doorway. He looks back at the desk, smiling slightly.

He leaves the bedroom and goes downstairs, Charlotte and Sarah were talking to eachother. "Any news?" Maximus asks. Sarah shakes her head, "nope...radio silence."

It had been nearly seven hours since Kevin and To left. Maximus was beginning to worry. "Try not to stress yourself out too much, honey," Sarah says, approaching her son. He looks down at her, "I know...I just feel powerless."

Sarah smiles comfortingly, "we're in the same boat, Max...don't worry." He nods, "okay..." She brings him to the livingroom, having him sit next to Charlotte.

Kevin hands over the cure to a government official, "you have to make more of these. This will cure all of the people effected by it..." "Okay, Kevin. Thanks...we'll get on it right away," the man says, turning and walking away.

To and Kevin go to leave, but there stands Exodus, panting heavily, still jet-lagged from the previous encounter. "I knew you bastards would be here," he says. To and Kevin instantly burst into their strongest forms, getting ready for a fight.

Exodus, growls, erupting into Final Form, his aura stuns both of the heroes. "This is bad," Kevin says. To nods, "yes..." Army men run over and train guns on Exodus. The government official walks up, "what are you doing here, Exodus? I thought we sent you to take care of these menaces." Exodus chuckles, "I'm not a part of your brigade anymore."

Kevin and To's eyes widen. They both pool their energy together to create a force field around the entirety of the army. Exodus fires a super powerful beam, clashing with the shield. It snaps and breaks.

Kevin groans, dropping to his knees. To pants heavily, still holding his hands out. "You two, get the Hell out of here. We'll fend him off for now...thank you for your valiant service!" The official shouts. They both nod.

The entirety of the army force begins unloading on Exodus. This gives Kevin and To an opportunity to escape. They fly away as fast as they can. Quickly, they arrive at home, bursting through the door.

Everyone looks over. "We need to go, NOW!" Kevin shouts. Everyone quickly gets ready, running from the home, and into a peaceful location. Kevin and To lower their energy to protect themselves and others. However, they remain outside, just to be safe.

Sarah sighs, sitting down in a chair, while Charlotte and Maximus stand. Maximus groans, "I hate feeling so powerless!" Charlotte frowns, rubbing her partner's shoulder. "I understand honey, but right now, just relax...we can't take any risks," Sarah says softly.

He sits down, crossing his arms, closing his eyes.

Outside, Kevin winces, feeling the energy of all of the army men fade and eventually disappear. "That was our only shot..." he says quietly, a hint of defeat in his voice. To looks at him and frowns, "it was...but they won't let it go to waste...and...neither will we."

Kevin looks at him and tilts his head. "Let's fuse. We can take him down, we need to keep that cure from his hands," To says. Kevin shakes his head, looking down, "no...our cool down isn't finished yet. We can't get there in time." "Who cares? It's all we've got...we need to at least try," To argues. Kevin sighs, "okay, fine." The two take hands. "Fuse! Merge! Combine!"

It worked. The two fused into Tevin yet again. However, since their fusion cool down timer hadn't finished, it was incomplete, such of their power is gone.

They fly off, and to the army. Exodus was absolutely destroying the army, and they were nearly defeated. Exodus stands over a damaged man, who was cowering.

He fires a blast. The dust settles, but he was gone. Exodus looks over, "you!!!" Tevin puts the man down, using an energy blast to protect him. He cracks his knuckles, "let's go."

He dashes at Exodus, throwing a punch. He catches it with ease, "you feel weaker." Tevin nods, "that may be." He jumps back, erupting into Perfected Peacemaker with Tomorrow's Breath v4. The sheer energy knocks Exodus back.

"That troublesome form again," he says. He growls, flying off. "Oh no you don't!" Tevin shouts, dashing after him. He snap-vanishes in front of Exodus, slamming him back to the ground. He actually landed a hit.

"Wow, I managed to hit him!" He narrows his eyes, a sneaky smile spreads across his face. Exodus stands up, rubbing his head. He looks up at Tevin.

"That was a fluke," he shouts. Tevin suddenly appears in front of him, his eyes widen. "Who knows? Maybe you're right. But I won't rest until you're dead." He strikes him in the stomach, sending him far.

He soars through the sky, thinking to himself. "I'm burning out. It seems that I need to retreat..." he says. Tevin continues his pursuit, grabbing his ankle, spinning around, throwing him to the ground. He charges up a beam, firing it at him. Exodus yells in pain, the beam being super effective.

He pants heavily, reverting back to base. "No...no..." he says to himself. Tevin stands before him, holding a blast to his chest, "I told you..." He fires the blast, it pierces through his chest. He drops to the ground, defeated.

Tevin defuses. Kevin pants heavily, "we need to get home fast..."

Back at home, Maximus was pacing. Sarah was watching him, "come on now. You're making me nervous. Sit down." Maximus looks at her, "I'm sorry Mom, I just can't," he looks at his hand, "my powers are gone, and I could usually help and prevail, but that bastard took it away from me." Sarah sighs, "I know honey, you've told us..."

He sits down, sighing, cupping his hands to his face. Charlotte, who was sitting next to him, rubbing his back, "your father and To are furious warriors. Even more so when they are fused..."

Kevin bursts through the door, "he's dead." Everyone looks over. Maximus stammers, "wh-what?" To sits down, relaxing, "we defeated him. It looked like he was running out of steam, and his powers, like yours Maximus, stopped working, and that gave us the opportunity to defeat him."

"It's...over then?" He asks. To nods. "...can I go see him?" Maximus asks. To looks over at him, "what?" "I want to see him," he says again. To nods, "okay..."

To and Kevin take Maximus to the military base. The remaining army men were trying to fix things. Exodus was on the ground, not moving. The hole in his chest created a massive blood pool. Maximus walks over, narrowing his eyes.

"Something's not ri-"

Suddenly, Exodus appears behind Maximus, grabbing him by the neck, lifting him up. He chokes, squirming. Both Kevin and To gasp.

"I'm surprised you hadn't learned your lesson yet, you fool," Exodus says. He punches his back, knocking Maximus unconscious, throwing him to the side.

He turns around to the other two, narrowing his eyes. He bursts into Final Form, smiling devilishly. To and Kevin get into a battlestance.

"It's not over yet."
