Episode Nineteen - Resurrection

Kevin is knocked to the ground, grunting. He flips back onto his feet, just barely evading a strike from Exodus, "how in the Hell did you live?!" Exodus strikes Kevin in the stomach, causing him to cough up blood, he then strikes him in the face, sending him flying.

To dashes in, kicking out, but Exodus blocks his foot, grabbing his ankle, throwing him at Kevin, the two crash into a mountain together.

Exodus appears infront of the two. He smiles down at them, "the government gave me regenerative capabilities. Nano bots." He grabs Kevin from the rock, bringing him close to his face, looking him down.

"You...bastard," Kevin says sternly. He headbutts him, but it had no effect. His eyes widen. Exodus strikes his stomach again, then kicks his stomach, sending him back into the mountain, and To, causing it to crash onto them.

The rubble erupts, vaporizing. Kevin stands, panting heavily, steam radiates from his body. Exodus raises an eyebrow, "oh? You're still standing...I'd commend you, but I don't talk to deadmen." He dashes in at Kevin, grabbing him by the jaw, flying slightly before throwing him through the air.

He soars above him, kicking him back to the ground. Kevin crashes into the ground. He quickly stands up, shaking his head, "damn...he's just as strong as ever." He suddenly jumps back, Exodus crashes into the ground.

He continues, swiftly dashing at Kevin even before he lands, striking him in the stomach. He yelps. Exodus grabs his face, throwing him into the air. Kevin swings around, slowly recovering, panting heavily, seeing Exodus charge at him.

He dodges to the side, and then falls to the ground. Exodus appears behind him, wrapping his arms around his neck. "You..." he grunts. Exodus growls, "shut up...SHUT UP!!!" He goes to snap his neck, but he suddenly feels a sharp pain in his back.

To inserted the cure into Exodus. He twitches, looking back at him. To grins, "you may still have Maximus, but you don't have Kevin!" Exodus's power erupts, shoving To and Kevin away. He pulls the needle out of him. He crushes the capsule, blood drips from his hand.

"This is no matter," Exodus starts, sighing, "Maximus's power will be more than enough." He walks up to the two warriors, looking down at them.

Kevin groans, holding his shoulder, struggling to stand. To helps him up. "This is the final battle...whatever happens here will call the fate of the universe," he says. Kevin sighs, "had too many of those battles in my life..."

To chuckles. The two explode into their most powerful forms -- To, in his Tomorrow's Breath v4, and Kevin in his Perfected Peacemaker form. Exodus grins, moving into a battlestance.

All three dash, Kevin and To clash with Exodus. "Ngh-!" He grunts, "I'll admit, that cure you two crafted really did do something, but I'm not prepared to let you win!" He yells, a shockwave breaks the clash.

To vanishes while Kevin dashes in. As he reaches him, he vanishes. Exodus calmly turns around, blocking both of their attacks. They appear. Kevin jumps back, growling, "he still beats us defensively..." To fires an energy blast at his face, jumping back beside him, "that's true...there's gotta be a way we can overwhelm him."

Exodus fires energy blasts at the two, splitting them apart. Kevin jumps into the sky, but suddenly, Exodus appears behind him, kicking him in the back. He flies down, To dashes in to save him. "Ah-! Thanks for the save..." he says. To nods, putting him down.

Exodus chuckles, "get ready." He dashes at them, but suddenly, a robbed figure appears in front of him, raising his hand, knocking Exodus down.

Kevin and To's eyes widen. Exodus groans, sitting up, "who the hell are you?" The man says nothing. He walks up to Kevin, staring him down. Kevin narrows his eyes, "hey, what are you-"

Suddenly, the man's fist plunges into his gut, causing him to cough up blood. He then strikes his jaw, sending him straight to the ground, making him revert.

Exodus tilts his head, "what are you-?" "Shut your mouth," the man says. To's eyes widen, "you..."

To stands up, flying off. Exodus growls, "I don't think so!" He stands, but the man suddenly appears in front of him.

He grabs his hand, breaking it with sheer strength. Exodus yelps, pulling away, growling, "who's side are you on?!"

Maximus opens a weak eye, looking at the events occurring. The robbed man walks over to Kevin, whispering something into his ear. He nods. He looks at Maximus, walking up to him.

"Open your eyes...the future depends on this," he says. He takes a step back, disappearing. Kevin stands, running at Exodus.

The two fight, and Kevin is very quickly knocked to the floor. "It's over, Kevin, you're not coming back!!!" Exodus shouts, grabbing his neck, squeezing with strength. Maximus watches hopelessly.

And with no second to react, Exodus snaps Kevin's neck. He drops to the ground, lifeless. Maximus's eyes widen.

"Finally," Exodus says, sighing. He turns around. He flies after To, but suddenly...

He is struck down to the ground. He doesn't land, Maximus grabs him. His throws him, then strikes his stomach, sending him flying. Exodus groans, shaking his head, snap-vanishing behind Maximus, striking him into a mountain.

Maximus stops himself before he could hit the mountain. He raises his hands, a sharp neon green aura surrounds him as he lifts the entire mountain with his energy. He growls, throwing it on top of Exodus.

It crashes onto him, causing immense damage. Maximus suddenly appears before the carnage. Exodus breaks the mountain apart, standing from it. Maximus is enveloped in a green glow. His hair turns white, and a mix of white and green surrounds him in a mysterious flame.

"What is this...?!" Exodus shouts. Maximus appears in front of him, sending a flury of punches, kicking him into the air. He appears above him, charging a massive energy blast.

His eyes are furious, the green aura strengthens, he charges further, it begins to grow impossibly large. Exodus watches in terror.

To was watching the battle from afar. He was amazed at the sheer energy.

Maximus fires the blast, sending Exodus into a mountain. He yells, the blast gets stronger and stronger, pushing Exodus across the continent, until...

He is launched into space with a massive explosion. The fight was over...Maximus had won with this mysterious ability.

Maximus looks into the sky, the energy disappears. He floats to the ground. He walks over to his now deceased father, picking him up. He walks with him back to his home. To follows close behind.

The fight was over...the Earth's peace was assured.
