Celia's POV

I lay on my couch fiddling with my fingers. I jump when I hear a knock at my door.

Opening it, I almost scream.

"Cameron!"

He smiles and opens his arms for me to jump in them, which I do.

"I didn't think you were gonna be back for a while! How was the new movie?"

Cameron has been getting so many spots in all these different movies. He just finished a new one that I'm hoping to see soon.

"It was fun! How have you been my little sister?"

He always used to call me his little sister but we're just friends.

"I've been fine. I missed you though. We haven't seen each other in forever!"

He smiles and nods.

"So where are you staying?"

"I'm staying across the street with Hayes"

I practically stop breathing. I completely forgot that Hayes and him were friends.

"Oh. Ok"

He smiles and pokes my stomach.

I giggle and walk over to the couch.

"So.."

Hayes looks at me and then back at Cameron.

"What do you want to do guys?"

Cameron shrugs and plays on his phone.

I look over his shoulder slightly an notice a girls name.

"Does Cameron have a girlfriend?"

He blushes and I giggle.

"No. She's just a friend-"

Hayes buds in which makes me laugh.

"Yeah, girlfriend"

Cameron stops him and puts his phone away.

"Alright guys. Stop picking on me. Hayes, I'm gonna go back. You staying?"

He nods and I look at him confused.

Cameron leaves and Hayes looks at me.

"What?"

He looks down and then back up, meeting my eyes.

"I wanted to talk to you. Alone"

I sigh and nod.

"So, I wanted to actually say what's on my mind"

He stops talking and breathes.

"So, I just want to start by saying, I came here because I wanted to start over. I know you hate me"

I look down and cross my arms.

"Well, I've changed. Celia please believe me"

I look at him and he looks so serious.

"Then why'd you hit me yesterday?"

My voice no where above a whisper.

"It just came over me. I'm so sorry"

I look at him and slouch in my seat.

"Promise? Promise me you'll show me you changed?"

He pulls out his pinky and grins. I smile and link my pinky with his.

"Promise"

"Aaron"

He doesn't look up from his phone.

I sigh and get up to go to the kitchen.

I grab an apple and walk back in.

Aaron hasn't talked to me for the past two weeks. Whenever he comes over or I come over there, he's on his phone.

"Aaron, please talk to me"

He ignores me and plays again.

I text him instead so it catches his attention.

-text- me: what did I do?

He looks up at me and walks to me.

"Lia, you did nothing wrong"

"Then why won't you talk to me? All you ever do is ignore me"

He looks down and stands up.

"I've got to go"

"Really? You just want to avoid me now and avoid everything that's happening!"

He looks at me and leaves.

He left. Again.

I do the first thing that comes to mind. I call someone.

"Hayes, can you and Cameron come over? I'm so alone.."

I've noticed that my chapters have been getting longer. Wow.
