"Oh shit!" I say as I hear sirens coming close.

Well hi I'm Tsuki Haya and this is my story, I am 16 years old and I live in the outskirts of Tokyo. In this world 80% of the population has a quirk so it's no surprise that I have one, mine is that if I draw something and touch my drawing with my left hand it becomes real, but you will find out more about it later on. Another piece of info before we move on is that there are four types of people in society: Heroes, Villains, Vigilantes and Civilians, I'm a borderline Vigilante of sorts, more on the Anti-Hero side one could say. I mostly use my quirk to cause chaos, like tonight; I caused a car crash on the intersection at Avi road by drawing a truck in the middle of the street and well you get the rest but, I gotta dash.

After running from rooftop to rooftop I heard a screech which was odd because it's very quiet over this way.

"I'm gonna go look."

I mutter to myself, as I flip my drawing book over to a page with a knife drawn on it, I touch the drawing with my left hand, then in a matter of seconds, I find myself holding a medium sized blade. I reach the location of the scream and perch myself above the alley way. I peek down and see a person lying on the ground with a seemingly middle aged man leaning over them pointing a katana at their throat saying something about fakes and that they should be purged.

I watched the situation unfurl intently until I heard sirens off in the distance.

"Fuck."

I say louder than intended. The man looked up at me pointing his katana towards my direction.

"Who is there, show yourself?"

The man said. I leapt down into the alleyway behind the man pointing my knife at him.

"The cops are on their way so you should run."

I say in a childish tone.

"Kid, thanks for the warning but you should go home, it's late" the man replied.

He looked slightly intimidating up close. He had a lot of blades attached to what looked like a jacket, he wore cargo pants with armoured boots, his black hair was somewhat matted and held together by a headband, he wore something that resembled a scarf. His glare was piercing compared to me in my pink hoodie, denim shorts worn over black fishnets and converse shoes with my short lilac hair hanging loosely. It was a contrast for the ages.

"So what, the city never sleeps anyway so why should I?"

I whisper under my breath.

"Hey kid you should go."

The man said somewhat threateningly,

"We both should, silly, I mean look at us." I said childishly.

"Cover your eyes kid"

he said as he turned around pointing his katana at the limp victim.

"Fineee"

I whined as I placed my hand over my eyes looking through a crack in my fingers. The sirens were getting closer but only I could hear it because I was born with impeccable hearing. The man took his final blow to the victim killing them instantly.

I jolted a bit seeing the blood spill out onto the pathway. "Damn."

I said under my breath, the man turned around and looked at me dead in the eyes.

"did you see anything?" he growled,

"N-no." I stuttered.

"Good now let's get you home, your parents ought to be worried." the man exclaimed with a sigh.

I frown and roll my eyes in annoyance

"I don't have parents, I ran away a while ago" I say with a child-like voice. The figure walked towards me and looked down at me.

"then where do you live".

"I live near the creek on the east side of town in a small building that used to be the park office." I replied.

The man put his weapon back in its holder and crossed his arms staring at me.

"listen you shouldn't go around talking to strangers, you're bloody young and it ain't safe." he said in annoyance.

"Look who's talking." I retorted with a hmpf.

"Ugh whatever." the man said as he walked past me "go home."

"Wait" I grab his hand,

"don't leave me please" my voice froze and I pulled my hand away hastily.

I've been alone for so long and I want a friend at least, this man there is something about him and I wanted to know more. He intrigued me and if I can just keep him by my side as much as possible I might have some hope. I cried in my head. I crossed my arms and wiped away a single tear threatening to trickle down my face. He turned around and looked at me.

"hey," he knelt down in front of me "I'll walk you to your place alright." he said as he cursed himself under his breath.

"Thank you." I smiled even through a cracked voice.

We walked in silence for a good 10 minutes and I could no longer hear approaching sirens, my mind was racing at the speed of light about who this man was.

"Hey kid tell me about yourself" The man paused and glared at me.

"Oh ok then, well my name is Tsuki like the moon and I'm 16 years old. My quirk is called Draw to Life, and I am a borderline Vigilante."

I told him with the same childish tone from earlier this time less happy though. The man nodded his head and continued walking. We did that for another 15 minutes. "See that bridge over there, once we cross it we will be at my house" I exclaimed in the happiest voice I could muster under the intimidating aura of the man who stood beside me. He nodded again with a cold stance.
