I get inside ready to have a shower and get some sleep, I shut the door and see an envelope on the floor. I reach down to pick it up and see that it's from the council. I placed the envelope on my coffee table and went to have a shower, when I finished I sat on the couch and opened the letter and read it aloud

"to whom it may concern this property is being reclaimed by the council within 7 days, residency in this building is considered illegal. Fines will occur if these rules are not followed. From the city council"

I started to tear up that I had nowhere to go so I decided I'd call my new friend Akaguro. I picked up my phone and dialed his number. I waited for a response.

"Hello this is Chizome speaking-"

I heard his voice through the speaker

"A...Akaguro Hi"

I said nervously.

"Tsuki, are you ok? What happened?"

Akaguro asked me with a concerned tone

"I got a letter from the council and in a week's time I won't have anywhere to go..."

I said on the verge of crying,

"I'm on my way kiddo, hang tight" Akaguro responded then hung up.

"Tsuki, you in there"

Akaguro knocked at the door and was greeted by a young girl who looked as if she had been crying. Akaguro knelt down and asked her to get the letter. Tsuki picked up the note and handed it to him, wiping her eyes. The man read over the letter a few times and nodded in annoyance.

"Ok kid do you have a large bag?"

he asked her with slight hesitation, as what he was about to do was going to change both Tsuki's life and his own.

"Y...yes, why" she replied.

"Just go get it and put your most important belongings in it, don't ask questions"

he said before he had a chance to change his mind.

I got my bag and put my favorite, most special items in it and closed it. I made a promise I'd come back tomorrow and erase items which were too large or unnecessary to have purpose. I looked up at Akaguro and said

"I did what you asked".

He then looked at me and replied

"ok well lock the door and follow me".

I did as he said and followed him in complete silence for 15 minutes until we reached the apartment he told me about earlier that day, in which he resided. He nodded at me to follow him inside, we reached an elevator and 5 minutes later we were standing in his apartment's entrance. He opened up a small room on the far side of a corridor. It had a nice window and white walls but there was nothing inside.

"This can be your room ok, draw whatever furniture you want in it I don't care"

he then shut the door as he left so I could draw.

I pulled my phone out of my bag and put my earphones in so I could listen to music as I drew some nice japanese inspired furniture. I sat there for two hours and I had four things already: a small table, a shelf, a chair and a futon. I had everything set up and with a sigh I stood up and stretched my wrist and put my phone on charge. I looked out the window to see people in the busy street below. I wanted to go thank Akaguro but I was hesitant to leave the room, I felt sorry that I had to involve him in all of this so I built up the courage to thank him and apologize as well. Just as I was about to open the door I heard a knock

"come in"

I say!

It wasn't long before Akaguro got home that he received a phone call from Tsuki. He could tell she was in pain of some sort so he went to her house to find out what was going on. He was now sitting on his couch watching the news with Tsuki on the other end of the apartment. He hated that he had involved himself in the life of a young girl but he knew somewhere in his heart that he would hate himself more if he left her with nowhere or no one to go to, so he let down his barriers a bit for the girl. He was having second thoughts but it somehow felt right to him so he thought he would go see how she was doing. He poured two glasses of water and went to the room he had given her. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

I smiled as I took the glass from his hand

"thank you for everything and sorry for everything"

I suddenly say. I quickly look away worried about the man's reaction.

"Hahaha, it's fine kid"

he laughed it off.

"A...are you sure?"

I asked hopefully.

"Yes it's fine, just keep out of my way when I say so and we won't have an issue"

he replied seriously

"ok then"

I smiled. This day was the best day I have ever had I thought to myself. Akaguro left the room and asked if I wanted to watch the news with him, I said yes please. I followed him to the lounge room and sat beside him on the couch.

The news was on and it showed an aerial view of north end where I had knocked down a building. I had to stifle a laugh as Both Akaguro and I listened intently. The reporter went on to talk about what had happened and showed the screen a snapshot of my symbol.

"This symbol has shown up near many sights for the past year in many different locations, we have suspected that this is the work of a solo villain but are still unable to identify them, if anyone has any insight to whom is behind these scandals please report to officials immediately"

the woman reporter said as that segment came to a close. I could no longer hold in my laughter and Akaguro joined in not long after. It got late fast and somehow we both ended up falling asleep next to each other on the couch, It was the start of a new beginning!
