My Hero in a Llama Hat - A Danisnotonfire Fanfiction

Chapter 1- The Walk Home

"You had enough bitch?" said the mugger. 

"Yeah, Huh, huh." His stupid sidekick said. 

I didn't say anything, mainly because I was half-unconscious and scared shitless.  

"Answer me!" the mugger said and kicked me. 

Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw a board of wood. Right before he was about to kick in the stomach again, I grabbed the board and hit him over the head. Then his sidekick was about to grab me but I kick in the balls, grabbed my bag and ran like bloody hell. I heard behind me, "Come back here, bitch." That just made me run even harder. After a few blocks I was beginning to slow down when I turned the corner and completely just rammed into a complete stranger. I fell to the ground.  

"Oh my God!! Are you okay?" I heard his sweet English accent. 

I didn't answer, I looked up at the stranger and to my surprise it was the one and only Dan, Danisnotonfire. I was barley conscious and now in shock, I completely lost my speech, my jaw dropped, he bent down and grabbed my shoulders and shook me a little bit. Then I stupidly asked, "Are you Danisnotonfire?" 

"Uhh, yeah I am," he said helping me to my feet. 

Then were footsteps coming toward us. "Where's that little bitch?" and the two muggers turned the corner.  

"Oh lookie, who we have here, it out little bitch." the bigger mugger said as he come up to and touching my chin. 

"Hey, are don't touch her!" Dan spat him away.  

"What did you say to me." the mugger retaliated. 

"I said don't touch her!" Dan holding his ground. 

I leaned over to him and said, "Dan stay out of this." 

"Yeah listen to the bitch, stay out of this." he pushed me against the wall.  

"STOP CALLING HER THAT! Dan screamed and punched the mugger in stomach. 

Then the sidekick came towards me and it was a full on brawl. This guy I was fighting must have been really weak because I still almost beat the crap out of him until he got to the ground and repeatedly punched in the face and stomach. Until I finally kick him off. And knocked him out cold with a punch in the face. I look over to see Dan and the other mugger still going at it. I ran over to go help him. But the mugger saw me running and knocked me to the ground. I heard sirens, in my head I said, "Thank God!" I ran out in the middle of the street (not the best idea,) and waved my arms in the arm like a maniac. Then there was a gun shot and everything turned to blackness. A couple seconds later I woke up and there were a few more cop cars, and I looked up to see Dan's face.  

I was still in shock I blurted out, "Hi." 

He giggled a little, "Hi, are you okay?" 

"Well I am now? Did I just say that?" 

"Yeah, you kinda did, Fangirling a little bit? 

"Just a little," I giggled, "OUCH, what the hell" and I grabbed my side. 

Dan backed up a little bit and look at my side, "Holy Shit! He shot you." 

I took my hand away and saw it cover in blood. I was scared I broke into tears. 

I was shaking, "Where is he?" I was looking around franticly. 

"A cop car took him and his stupid counterpart away a couple minutes ago." Dan explained. 

"I have a question. Why did you help me out?" I asked. 

"Because no one on the llamarmy should be treated like that." he said with a sweet smile. 

I touched his face, "Thank you, but I could have handled them." Tears streaming down my face. 

I tried to sit up, slowly but surely I got there.  

"And I have a question for you; I never got your name?" Dan asked. 

"Oh, sorry, I'm Vanessa." I said.  

"Hey." a voice shouted. 

I quickly turned my head thinking it was the mugger and sidekick were back, put it was just a cop. I let out a relived sigh. 

"Is everything okay here." the cop asked. 

Before I could answer, Dan bluntly said, "No, this pretty girl just got mugged and shot, we need an ambulance now!" 

"Sir, calm down, we have one of there and are you all right?"  

"Don't worry about me; I just need to get her to the ambulance. " 

With the help of Dan and the cop, I was lift to me feet put almost landed on the ground but Dan caught me put my arm around his shoulder and his hand went on his was on my waist. I had barely any energy; I tried my hardest to walk and groaned with each step. Dan kept reassuring me everything was going to be okay but I was in so much pain.  

"Dan it hurts so much." I winced. 

"I know, Vanessa, I know," Dan said calming.  

He got me to the ambulance and I sat on the bumper crying. Some paramedics came by and started examining me while the cop questioned Dan. Then everyone started asking me questions.
