I remember you said you'll stay

Smiling as the wind blows through your hair

Honest only for three years

Then why did you leave?

I remember when you said you'd be my shoulder when I cry

Never wiping the tears away

Because you transformed them into joy

When did you change?

I remember you'd break the rules just to see me smile

Not a friend, best friend forever, but as a sister

Your laughter echoed through my ears

What has happened throughout those years?

I remember when you brought me to your secret place

Telling me to never forget

But now there are all running through my mind

When will my legs tire?

I remember your sweet voice, singing me to sleep

Lulling the world that keeps us here

Whispers to my heavenly angel

Can you hear me?

I remember you crying out to me

Hoping that I'd smile and say it's okay

But it wasn't, I wished you'd live to this day

What more can I say?
