13| Sickness

(Sonic POV)
Things were getting worse and worse. Not to mention, my stomach is either hungry or I'm sick.

Angels can't get sick can they? I really don't know. I've never met a sick angel or at least one that had a stomach bug. Most angels sneeze when sick, but they only sneeze.

"Sonic"

"Who's there?"

"Tails"

"Tails? Is everything okay?"

"Yes and no. More on that later"

"Uuuuuuhhh okay...."

"You need to rest. There is a hotel across this Avenue you can stay in. But make sure Shadow and Knuckles stay with you. Got it?"

"Yes sir" I tried to chuckle at my words but immediately my stomach started aching, and I started to feel faint.

What's happening to me?

I almost fell over but Shads caught me. "Kid you need rest. Not only that but we have at least forty-eight hours untill Elise completely turns. So let's stop by the nearest hotel and move on from there" Knux said as Shadow picked me up bridal style.

I pushed on his chest to tell him to let me go, but felt like I was going to puke thanks to the sudden movement. "No...." I mumbled tiredly. Shads shook his head.

"It's for your own good," he directed his attention from me to Knux, "call Rouge and tell her about this. Then call Scourge and Jet and tell them to met us at the hotel in the western avenue at six." He said as we started walking to the hotel with Knux calling everyone.

I couldn't hear what they were saying when drifted off into bliss of sleep.

(Knuckles' POV)
I made the call to everyone. Rouge was going to bring treats and medicine for her "baby". I told her I didn't care for what she brought as along as it help me and Shadow's angel.

I sighed. We never agreed to share him. But unconsciously I believe that he'll share him with me.

(Shadow POV)
"Well look Hun. We've found your pet" I knew that voice from anywhere. I quickly turned around and saw Mephiles and his boyfriend Sliver.

"You're not having him!" I yelled as Knuckles growled.

"We will see about that." Mephiles laughed and prepared for a fight. He knew I won't give my angel up for Hell or Heaven. And he sure is right!
