 𝄥𝄞────────── 𝄇

Daisuke was playing on his piano, ignoring all the things that surrounded him at the moment. Music was like another language for him...he thought that every languge had something that made it unique and exceptional.

However the one thing about music, was that unlike all other forms of communication, it could be understood by all humans...it could bring people together, it could bring comfort, it could bring joy, peace, affection, and, life.

But of course, music could also be used to express pain, grief, and tragedy...yet thats why music was almost like a magical language for him.

He was currently playing Für Elise composed by one of the most well known musicians of all history, Ludwig Von Beethoven.

"It's not bad playing the wrong note, but playing without feeling is unforgivable."

This quote that Beethoven had said, and his own mother had repeated to him various times when he was still a beginner (at piano), had always kept him going.

...

"Mom! I was doing just fine, but I messed up the tempo again AND I messed up on the last note!" yelled a little raven haired boy as he hid his face in between his small tired hands.

The mother went over to him, and layed a hand on his left shoulder "Sweetie, take it easy on yourself. You can't become a piano master in just one day, silly little boy!"

The little boy lifted his head and felt his cheeks turn red from embarrassment. He sniffed as he quickly began cleaning the small tears that had began forming in the corner of his eyes.

"Now now, so you messed up on the last note and you're having trouble with the tempo?"

"...yes...I don't know why!"

He had messed up on just one note, it was no big deal; after all, he was just starting to play piano and did pretty well for a starter.

Still, the mother felt sorry for the small boy struggling to find the correct tempo, for the song he was trying to play.

Für Elise.

She was aware that Für Elise was no easy song to play, but she had just the right idea to help her son.

"You know, Beethoven once said 'Its not bad playing the wrong note, but playing with no feeling is unforgivable'"

"What does it mean though?"

"It means that its ok to mess up when you're playing or practicing, but its no good if you don't put any love or any emotions into it. When someone puts their feelings into it, it gives music a whole new different meaning."

"Aah...but...what about the tempo? What if I never find the right tempo?? What will I do then???"

The mother took the child and sat him on her lap. She took a deep sigh, and gently brushed his soft black hair.

"My little boy, listen carefully, if you feel like you can't get the tempo right, make sure, to let your heart play the tempo instead."

(End of flashback)

At that time, he didn't understand what his mother meant, but as he grew older, he had slowly began to realize what she was trying to tell him.

He stopped playing halfway through the song, and allowed silence to fill the room once again...something didn't feel quite right...
