Currently, Akira is participating in gym class. Today the boys would be playing volleyball, while the girls were allowed to watch. Currently he is acting as his team's setter. He helps set up for any attacks his teammates needed to make, while also acting as an inportant person on their court.
When the teams were decided nobody had any clue of Akira's true ability at sports. As the audience observed the teams playing, one person began to immediately stand out. Akira's form when recieving the ball and digging in for the opposing spikes showed that this was not his first game. Mostly everyone thought this was a fluke, until it became his turn to serve. He threw the ball up into the area and performed a jump serve, causing this serve to be an ace. After this, the game continued until his team has reached game point. The rally began and everything was getting intense. When Akira was going to recieve the ball, he began to notice the stares of Sayo and Rinko, solely focusing on himself. With this distraction making him flustered, the ball made direct contact with Akira's head, causing him to fall backwards. While everyone turned their focus towards Akira's accident, the ball suddenly landed inside the court, leading to his team winning. His team managed to, even if the last point was not as cool as other games, like the Karasuno Male Volleyball games.
After school was over, he made his way over to CiRCLE, while still recovering from the volleyball accident. "Hey, Marina!", Akira greeted, with no immediately response. After looking around, he found a note that Marina written. The note only read, 'I needed to step out for reasons. Today both Roselia and Hello Happy World are supposed to practice here today, be prepared.' After completing reading the note, Akira nodded to himself and started getting everything ready. A few minutes later, Roselia entered CiRCLE to practice. Akira told them they could use Studio 2 and Roselia made their way to the studio.
After a hour passes, Lisa approached Akira. "Hey there Akira-san.", Lisa playfully said to him. He the replied, "Hey there Imai-san, is there something you need?" She then replied, "You do not have to be that formal Akira-san, you can call me Lisa. But we are currently taking a break, I wanted to know if you can join us?" Akira then answered, "I guess I could, if it does not bother you girls." Lisa suddenly grabbed onto Akira's arm and slightly pulled it and said, "It will be fine, I'm sure Yukina and Sayo won't mind." With this, Lisa led Akira towards CiRCLE's cafe.
Once they made their way to the cafe, Akira then greeted the rest of Roselia. "Hello there, Kurasu-san", was what Yukina said to him. Akira then sat with with the band at the table. Rinko then asked, "Kurasu-san, a-are you f-feeling better now?" Akira then responded, "Yes, thanks for asking Shirokane-san.", with a light blush on his face, forming because of her sincere question and remembering the events that transpired earlier. Ako soon asked "What happened to Akira, Rin-Rin." Out of pure embarrassment, Akira interrupted with, "I-it's nothing important."
After a few more minutes of conversing with Roselia, Ako then soon asked a question. "Hey Akira-san, do you play NFO?" He then responded, "I play it every once in a while." "Akira-san you should play with me and Rin-Rin one day!", Ako soon responded excitedly. He then responded with the same excitement, "Yeah, it would be so fun!" Ako soon looked towards Rinko and responded "You hear that Rin-Rin!" Rinko then responded, "Yeah, it will be fun Ako-chan." It soon became time for Roselia to get back to practice. With their practice truly concluding they soon left, but not before Rinko, Ako, and Lisa exchanged contact information with Akira.
Once Roselia left, CiRCLE began to feel unusually quiet and boring. Then the front door suddenly opened, revealing another 5 new girls. 3 of the 5 girls entered the room, with each one saying either "Happy!", "Lucky!", "Smile!". Once they said these words, all three united together and joyously said "Yeah!" The mood of the room has completely changed with their appearance. With Akira unknowingly smiling he asked, "Are you all Hello Happy World?" With them answering his question, he introduced himself. They the follows afterwards.
