Breah's pov"Flight number four zero two is boarding. I repeat, flight number four zero two is boarding." the airport speakers echoed.
I took a deep breath and began to walk towards my future.
"Japan, here I come"It was my senior year in high school, I was asked to be a transfer student due to my academic gift in world languages, more specifically Japanese.
I had decided to choose Japanese instead of French because I felt that I would use it in life more.
I was excited, couldn't wait to see what would happen next. Who wouldn't be energetic about traveling to a different continent?I sat down in my designated seat and popped in my air pods.
"Ladies and Gentlemen please make sure your seatbelts are fastened. The flight time to Japan, Miyagi will be thirteen hours total..." spoke the flight attendant on the speakers.
I began to listen to Unravel by Toru Kitajima.
'Oshiete oshiete yo sono shikumi wo'...
🍛🍛🍛I had arrived at my hotel that I was staying in for the entire school year. The first thing I had noticed was a uniform with a maroon colored skirt. I had forgotten about the uniforms...
"New bedsheets every day, free food, and..." I walked over to the large HD television and picked up the remote. I turned it on to be welcomed to re-run episodes of My Hero Academia. "All the anime I could ever imagine" I said to myself.
I jumped on top of the bouncy king-sized bed and let out a sigh of relief. It felt good to be in Japan, I do miss my family but this was a once in a lifetime experience.
I sat up and began to rummage through my backpack for my study folder. It was filled with all the information I would need in Japan.
Apparently, starting tomorrow I'm supposed to go to a school named Shiratorizawa Academy.
"Wait for a minute..." I mumbled to myself.I grabbed the magazine in my backpack that I took from the airport. There was a picture of a boy with dark olive-brown hair and matching olive-colored eyes. It was a picture of him in mid-air spiking a volleyball.
"The number 1 ace in Miyagi Prefecture? Interesting" I began flipping through the magazine to find out more about him. He was a representative for Japan, for the Youth World Championship. He had a large, muscular yet lean build and was fairly tall. His facial expression seemed so cold, rather intimidating... I suddenly wanted to know more about him.
I took a shower and got ready for bed, I was eager to meet this famous Ushijima Wakatoshi.
I usually don't get boy crazy at all but I had to make an exception for him. Back at my old school, I was the volleyball manager for the girl's team. I couldn't play but, I was exceptional at making up game plans and keeping my teammates motivated. They meant a lot to me.
🍛🍛🍛I would up early because I knew that I would have problems with the school uniforms. The skirt was too short for my liking and it didn't fit my curves right. I knew I would already stand out from me just looking American but, this was a whole new issue.
I huffed and gave up on the uniform, I had to leave or else I would be late for school.A/N: bare with me now, I know they speak Japanese BUT this is my story so let's pretend that the English words I type are in Japanese okay? okay~
I paid the taxi driver and told him thank you. I was finally at my new school. I was getting stared down but I didn't let that bother me. I quickly found the main office and found my classes. They adequately translated all my classes to make it easier for me.
'Thank you, so much' I thought to myself.
I was too busy hugging my new translated schedule to realize where I was going. I had run into a wall and fell backward dropping my precious schedule.
