The long road ahead. That's all Yoongi could think of before finally falling into a deep slumber. His mind going blank. The boy had spent the past seventeen years of his life in this neighborhood. Not once has he moved.
He was feeling anxious and found it almost impossible to fall asleep. He usually drifted off into dreamland as soon as his head hit the pillow. But tonight was different.
It was almost 3 o'clock when he did.
The next morning he woke up to the blaring sound of his alarm clock. He swiftly knocked the annoying item off his bedside table, successfully shutting it up. Yoongi groans but gets up nonetheless. One thing that he hates more then women are mornings . You could say that he is anything but a morning person.
Despite the fact that he was sort of sleep deprived, since he only got about four hours of sleep, he was feeling quite fresh after taking a hot bath. It cleared his mind. He came to the realization that he really didn't give two shits about the move.
He just wasn't in the mood for all the religious lectures he was going to receive during his stay in Busan. Yoongi absolutely despised judgmental or close minded people. He was aware that they were going to give him weird stares and most likely tell him that he is a sinner and that he will go to hell or what not.
But thinking about this also made him realize that he still found the whole situation amusing. Being the cheeky adolescent Yoongi is, he was looking forward to sass back to all those comments he was already expecting.
Nevertheless he hoped that his stay wouldn't be too long. Maybe his parents would grasp that one can't pray the gay away. Sooner or later they will have to accept it, don't they?
After he finished packing his suitcase, he went downstairs with the hope of getting some food in his system before the long car ride.
Mrs Min was making some bacon and eggs for breakfast in the kitchen. She tossed him a look over her shoulder, then proceeded to turn her head back around to the counter without uttering a word. She most likely didn't feel like wasting her breath on a 'good morning'.
"Breakfast is ready" she half shouts so that her husband could hear it. Even though her statement was not directed at Yoongi, she still made an effort to bring three plates to the table, silently inviting her son to eat with them .
At this point Yoongi was starving. His stomach growling angrily at the boy for not eating anything for dinner the day before.
He was more then happy to join his parents for the sake of breakfast. The atmosphere was quiet. No one dared to say anything until Mr Min finally decided to break the tension which made the air thick. "The weather is nice today isn't it?" Both Mrs Min and Yoongi nodded.
After finishing the meal the family of three got into the car and off they were to Busan. Yoongi plucked his headphones in and started listening to music. He leaned up against the car window looking at the road and the scenery, soon dozing off.
He awoke to the roaring engine of the car falling silent followed by his fathers croaky voice "wake up we are here" Slowly opening his eyes, almost being blinded by the brightness of the sun in the process, confusion took over the boy due to his sleepy state. It took him a couple of seconds to take in his surroundings. Busan
