Medooy decided to ignore what her dad said. She swam threw the water. Until she got to the big rock. "I wonder if she will come up"said melody
Soon a figure shot up to the sky. It was harmony. Melody saw harmonies big tail. Harmony made a big splash. Melody giggled. Harmony pop her head out and giggled too. She sat on the rock. So did melody. "Hey there harmony"said melody
"Hello melody"said harmony
"Glad I found you"said melody with a smile
Harmony smiled "so what's up?"
"Nothing. My family is acting strange"
"All sirens are like that"
"Not all of them. Like I wish I want a sire. I dont get why our nations fight. We both rule the sea"
"I dont know"
"Do you like me? I mean like mermaids dont like sirens"
"I like you melody. Your cool. I dont see any way your mean. You pretty nice. Do you like me? Since sirens dont like mermaids?"
"I like you harmony. Your not like the rest of the mermaids"
They both giggled. They talked and talk. Soon they became best friends. They played tag. But harmony had an advantage due to her big tail giving her speed. They played and played. When it was lunch time harmony swam down and got them some food. They ate and talk. They watch the sunset and watched as the moon rose up. "Its so peaceful"said harmony
"It sure is"said melody
"I had fun tonight"said harmony
"Same. None of my friends are this fun. Like your the only friend I actually feel comfortable talking with and telling my secrets to"said melody
"Did your mom got mad when your dad told her you were hanging with a mermaid?"said harmony
"I dont have a mom. She died. She died giving birth to my sister. But my sister died too. I was just two when it happened"said melody
Harmony hugged melody "im so so sorry. I didn't mean to bring up bad memories"
Melody hugged back "it's fine. But sometimes I wished I got to meet her and my sister. Im sure she would have been awesome"
"Maybe the three of us could have been friends"said harmony
Harmony comfort melody. And when melody finished crying she had to leave. Harmony watched as melody left. "Poor melody. Only if she had a mom like I do"said harmony
Harmony swam home and sat down. "So how was your day sweetie?"said sea
"I made a friend"said harmony
"Really who?"said wave
"Melody. That one siren. She is actually really nice. And she lost her mom and her little sister. She was only 2 when it happened"said harmony
Sea and wave froze. "Honey can I talk to you?"said sea
Sea left and wave followed. "Thay guy is lying to his daughter! He told her that her mom and her sister died when she was 2"said sea
"He is only making matters worse. Guess how harmony is going to feel like knowing that her own father gave her away and told melody she died. And how will melody react when her best friend is actually her twin sister"said wave
"Wave honey. As much as we love melody we have to tell her the truth. We have to give her, her siren life. She can't keep being a mermaid. That's not her destiny. She has to be with her siren family"said sea
"I know sweetie. We will have to tell her the truth. We can't keep harmony in the dark"said wave
