He moved the cloth to your upper left arm, cleaning off blood from the cut Toga had caused.

You flinched in pain.

He pushed you back gently until you were leaning against the wall. Without any words, he just held you in that position, continuing to clean your wound.

As he finished, his fingers moved from your arm to your right cheek.

You tensed.

You needed to move away his hand.

"Don't." He stated, noticing.

A voice buried under all the memories you had desperately tried to part from asked you, 'Do you want to move away his hand, though?'

So you just sat there.

He pinched your cheek lightly, as if scolding a young child.

His eyes drooped down and with this you understood.

You could tell when he lowered his guard ever so slightly.

The bright- yet so dark- blue, piercing eyes.

They hid so much more.

Pain, suffering, sadness...longing- you didn't know yet. These were eyes you knew carried secrets and heavy burdens.

After all, you had these eyes yourself.

What had he gone through?

The villain whispered in a tone quieter than before, "You need to stop getting yourself into danger."

As he moved away, he stood up and walked away with the bloodied cloth.

And you sat there, stiff.

You hated that- whatever he had just done.

You hated having your face pinched like that.

You despised it so, so much.

But maybe hate was an overstatement.

Creak.

The door to the place had opened.

"I bought you some food!" A high pitched voice hummed. "Wait. Where'd he go? Hi, Y/n!"

Had Blueflame told Toga your name?
Maybe she knew already.

The tiny blonde girl walked off into what you presumed was a hallway. From where you sat, you heard another door open.

"I bought you some food!"

"Get-"

"It's your favourite flav-"

"I said-"

"Hey, why are you bleeding?"

"GET THE FUCK OUT!"

A loud bang echoed throughout the place, reaching the room you were in. The blonde girl came back into sight.

Her face was clearly upset.

"That big meanie." She huffed.

Toga walked over towards you and sat down, giving you one of the two cones she was holding. She held out the green one out of the two.

"Mint ice-cream?" She offered, holding it out in front of you.

Toga had originally bought it for big meanie, not you. Therefore, it probably wasn't poisoned or anything of the sort. Plus, you felt a little bad for the girl.

"Sure." You took it from her hands. Toga held a brownish golden one.

"You know the guy who was talking to you earlier? He always asks me to buy mint flavor. Helps him cool down or something, I can't remember. I always get caramel. He hates caramel." Toga ranted on.
