You'd texted Hawks earlier reminding him you'd be home for the weekend.

You wanted to talk to him about everything that was happening.

You needed some guidance in the mess you were involuntarily placed in.

First, you had to know the connection between your brother and the flame villain.

This way, you knew what limits you had in your questions.

You doubted Hawks would tell you, being the supportive older brother he was.

You could ask Dabi...but it wouldn't have felt right.

For some reason though, you knew the villain would help you.

You were old enough, talented enough and strong enough to protect yourself.

Whatever it was couldn't have been that bad.

As the week went by, you tried to restrain yourself from contacting him, only to become even more paranoid than before.

You sat in your dorm, staring at the blank screen on your phone.

You sighed, opening it as you directed to your messages.

How do I even start this off?

(Me) 19:06
Can I ask you something?

The reply came a few minutes later, quite fast for a full time trouble-maker.

(Dabi) 19:09
Yeah?

(Me) 19:11
You know when Hawks tried to save me...?

(Dabi) 19:11
Yeah?

(Me) 19:13
Did you already know him?

(Dabi) 19:14
Catching up fast, aren't we?

(Me) 19:15
And what am I supposed to be catching up with?

(Dabi) 19:15
Your brother wants to keep this a secret, by the looks of it. If you're asking me you must be desperate.

(Me) 19:15
I'm not desperate. I thought you'd tell me.

(Dabi) 19:16
I'm honoured.

(Me) 19:16
Can you tell me?

(Dabi) 19:17
You going home for the weekend?

(Me) 19:17
Why?

(Dabi) 19:17
If you can't find your brother, he'll be at the park.

(Me) 19:18
What?

(Dabi) 19:18
Yeah.

This man...was way too goddamn mysterious.

The weekend had come around rather quickly as you made your way home, Dabi's odd statement out of place.

It was evening and the sun was preparing to set. A warm, orange glow casting over the city.

As you opened the front door, you called for your brother.
