Chapter 10

"They know where you live?!" he said shocked. I nodded looking elsewhere and he grabbed his hair in frustration, letting out a sigh.

"That means you're not safe anywhere..." He sighed and said, "Wait here for a moment." He walked off leaving me there alone, so I sat down, leaning back and closing my eyes.

I was exhausted and weak, so I ended up falling asleep unintentionally.

JUNGKOOK POV

I opened the door to the room Namjoon was in and saw him with his head on the desk, fast asleep.

I sighed and let him be, I knew he was exhausted.

I closed the door and saw Jimin walking his eyes glued to his phone.

"Hyung" I called out and he looked up surprised, probably because I called him 'hyung' for once.

"Umm... you remember that girl Y/n?" He nodded then I said, "I don't know what to do with her... she was kidnapped twice and she's not even safe at home."

He then raised an eyebrow at me and I looked at him confused. "What?" "...Why do seem like you care so much about her?" "I... I don't I just..."

I sighed then he sighed too and said, "It's best to let her go, it's not as if we're safe either." "But-" "Do you want her to be safe?" I kept silent then he said, "If so, think about it. Keep her where it's the most safe" he then walked off before I could say anything else.

Where it's the most safe... something could happen to her again if she's out there... but here, at least we know where she is and that she's ok.

I shook my head at that.

Jimin's right... why do I care about her so much?

But if something happens again because I let her go... I would blame that on myself.

I sighed and went back to where Y/n was, but saw her asleep.

I went closer slowly and called out her name, but she didn't react at all.

I sighed and looked at her uncomfortable position, so I picked her up and layed her down on a bed in a spare bedroom, putting the blanket over her before leaving her there.

Y/N POV

I opened my eyes slowly and looked around to see that I was in an unfamiliar room.

I got up rubbing the sleep in my eyes away and going out of the room.

Oh. I was still here... Did I fall asleep?

"Y/n" I turned around and took a step back. That 'Jimin' guy was staring at me with his arms crossed.

"Jungkook said you're staying here" he threw me a bag and I caught it looking at him confused.

"Unless you want to leave of course, we're not forcing you. But it's dangerous out there."

He walked off leaving me there dumbfounded and I looked down at the bag in my hands.

I went back in that room and opened the bag and saw some of my belongings in there, mostly my clothes.

I'm... staying here then?

"-But it's dangerous out there."

That's true, but...

"I hate getting close to anyone, you only get attached to them and get hurt in the end. I don't get the point."

Jungkook said he hated getting close to me...

So why did he insist on me staying?

I guess he'll keep his distance though.

And I'll try to keep mine.

I wrote 2 more chapters bc I was chilling today, tho I have a French listening exam tomorrow. Oh welp, imma flop 🙃 so yh I'll still update slowly bc of exams, which are hell btw :/
