(Y/n) (L/n), the girl who lost her family and was raised by her Uncle Ron and Aunt Judy Witwicky, along side her younger cousin Sam. She's been in the Army since she graduated high school, a damned good soldier for her age, and quickly rising throug...
Hearing muffled voices and beeping you spring up instantly with a gasp. "Whoa Whoa! Easy soldier!" A male says as you blink several times to make the blinding white light adjust to your eyes. Groaning at the pain in your head, your eyes focus on the defense secretary standing in your room. "Forgive me Sir-" you say saluting to him only to have him to shake his head at you before cutting you off, "At ease soldier. I need you to tell me exactly what happened at your base." He says making your eyes widen as you remember the strange and terrifying events. "The base! My team! Sir, please are they okay!?" You ask rather quickly as a wave of concern washes over you.
His eyes cast down at your question as a wave of silence over takes the room. You shake your head at the unspoken answer. He sighs looking back up at you basically confirming it with his eyes but you stay silent. You were gonna make him say it before you allowed yourself to believe it. "As of right now... your the only survivor." He says making your eyes meet the floor in total disbelief and horror . "Please (L/n), I need details and I need them now." He says with sadness and seriousness.
You swallow hard and shake your head trying to find the words to describe what happened. If you were being honest you didn't even know what actually happened. It all went so fast and that weapon or that thing that attacked you. What was it? "I-It was a normal day. We got this call about a chopper that had been confirmed shot down and destroyed flying in so..." you trail off. Wait... the weapon was the chopper. That was crazy though. Right?
"So..?" The secretary says trying to urge you to continue. "S-So they escorted it to our landing pads. It has this weapon... this huge weapon... I-I've never seen anything like it sir. Bullets didn't even leave a scratch... the only thing that fazed it was when I hit it with a grenade launcher round." You say as you watch him run a hand down his face in distress. "Is that all?" He asks and you nod. "I-I'm sorry sir... that's all I saw." You say wishing now that you had went with Epps to the helipad then maybe you'd of seen more.
"No don't be sorry soldier. Thank you. We know more now than we did." He says as he stands and holds his hand out for you to shake. You take it and he shakes it once but keeps ahold of it, "Your gonna be sent home on leave. Be on stand by just in case we need you to come in again to restate what you've told me today." He says before releasing your hand. You nod as he starts to walk out with his guards following behind him. He pauses at the door turning his head towards you but not his body, "I'm sorry about you friends Ma'am..." he says softly. "Me too..." you say sadly as he turns and disappears around the corner leaving you alone in the hospital room. Just you and your racing mind...

Walking through the air port in a fresh out fit you'd bought from the gift shop you can't help but see the TVs covering the story of your base. Shifting the small bag on your back with your tattered military outfit and wallet in it you sigh heavily. Every tv screen said "no survivors" or "tragic terrorist attack". It didn't surprise you that they didn't tell the media that you'd survived. In fact, you were grateful they didn't, or you'd be bombarded by reporters trying to squeeze any info out of you at all. You wanted to scream because you survived... why was it just you though... 'damned survivors guilt...' you think to yourself angrily.
