Johns wakes up to bright sun and a warm body pressed up against his. Arlo lay on top of the covers, fully clothed and messy hair.

John smiled 'he's so warm' he thought snuggling into the other.

A wary groan came from the blond.

"Good morning" John said smiling warmly. Johns hands flat out the blonds curly hair brushing his fingers through it.

"Good morning" Arlo returned dark circles under his eyes from last night, he spent to much time thinking about John, an elf ,and had lost track of time next thing he new it was midnight.

John lashed out of arlo's tight grip and made his way over to Arlos closet, there he picked out a longes white shirt with a gold trim and some under wear.

Johns new smaller frame had changed remarkably since Arlo had meet him.

Less food made him look more skinny like a woman...at least that's what he over heard servants talk about, Arlo snarled at his mother idea to make John his wife johns a male, so not a wife...a husband.

It would be a gay marriage if they ever did get married.

Arlo glanced at the elf's back it was covered in small white scars, probably from hunting back in his kingdom.

"Hmm- Arlo?" John asked.

"Yes?" the blond replied rubbing his temple 'he was over thinking...again'

"..."

The blond looked up at John.

John fixated his vision to the ground, like it was the most interesting thing in the world at this moment.

"Odd question" he started, still looking at the ground.

"Do you have any story books?" The last two words came out in a hushed whisper as his voice got lower and softer the more he spoke like he was trying to muffle his own words.

"Yes, why?" The blond said standing up from the bed and stretching out his back.

"Can you read some to me?" John eyes lit up when he finished speaking and his head shot up to look at the prince of wellstong, like an innocent little puppy that just heard his owner come home, but Arlo thinks John acts more like a cat in some ways.

"Sure" the blond state tiredly still waking up a little.

"There on the bookshelf" he gestured to the side of the room where a large wooden bookshelf stood decorated with close to hundreds of books all with different covers, Arlo resumed his place on the bed.

Joh scampered off to the bookshelf and picked out two books, one with a sliver cover with a painted red apple and the other with a beautiful maiden with glass shoes.

Arlo pated the bed indicated that John could sit with him.

John hopped next to the blond handing him the two books and snuggling into the side of his chest.

Arlo gripped onto johns waist and pulled his closer.

And started reading.

John leaned on his shoulder as he started, his father used to read to him like this, this was his happy time.

His happy time with the prince of wellstong.

His new founded love.
