Mikaelson Compound

Elijah Mikaelson opens the large doors of the dining room to find Klaus pouring fresh blood from a blood bag into a crystal glass at the end of the long dining table, which the older Original mentioned him judgmentally.

"Ugh, O-positive. You heathen." As if they aren't in the first place anyway...

"New rules. No blood shed in the house where my daughter sleeps and plays. Perhaps I'll go out for dinner." Klaus mischievously considered with a smile on his gorgeous face, genuinely delighted that both Hope and Hayley are remaining to reside under the exact roof with him once again, as a family. Now that Kol and Rebekah have left, the house is getting quieter.

From what he has heard or seen, from his own siblings and even online, both Kol and Rebekah have parted ways since they left together, in which Kol immediately went on flight to Crystal Palace, UK, in which he remains with Marisa Westphall, who's now twenty-five years old and his exact type. Being that she's a witch, from the French Quarter coven, a brunette, with clear greenish-brown coloured eyes, how hard working she is, and serious. Perhaps the youngest Mikaelson brother has finally begin to accept the fact that Davina Claire is not coming back anymore, in which there's nothing they can do, and that it's time for him to move on. It has been five years. He really wouldn't have mind if Kol ended up with Marisa instead, considering he has always tolerated the girl more than Davina. Perhaps it's because she's the cousin of his own former therapist? They're merely similar though.

Monique Deveraux walks in, after her own sweetheart, to join them with a sarcastic remark, "Good call. The locals or the tourists?" Neither, obviously.

A smug smile comes upon Klaus' handsome face, "I think I'd prefer both."

"Oh, no, no, no, no. You are not going anywhere." A smug Elijah told him.

They earn a humorous look from Monique, "What he means is that we have no way to know who will take Dominic's place as the Hollow's right hand. There could be any number of disciples out there. Potential people."

"Yes, yes, yes, all who may have the means to kill us." Klaus darts his equally judgmental gaze back to his brother, "You know, if you hadn't been so hasty to kill him, we'd be dealing with the devil we know." Thanks to Elijah.

"Spoken by the devil I know best of all." The older Original turns around to go when he's halted by his brother while the young woman watches him.

"I take it you have a plan." To find out who the high priest is; Klaus darts his genuinely curious gaze back to the young woman, "Or was it yours, love?"

Monique slowly shakes her head with a small though cute smile, "The only thing I do know is the fact that Freya will place a barrier spell on the compound to keep you safe, with Hope and Hayley. You're on lock down."

"In which no one gets in or out." Elijah added as he's standing next to her.

The smug smile on her beautiful face only grows wider, "You're welcome."

Klaus quickly gets up from his seat, at the end of the long dining table, and walks toward them, "Oh, so we're to stay here while our enemies seek to resurrect this monstrosity and let me guess, you love birds won't be confined here as you're too busy canoodling to God knows where."

Both Elijah and Monique share a relatable look of humor at that, smiling.

"I have a little errand to run." The former gently holds the young woman close to him, "My darling Monique, as usual, would love to come along."
