Robinstar was the leader of Beachclan with her trusted deputy Leaftail and her skilled medicine cat Lightfur. Her camp was near the other clans of Wolfclan, Thornclan and Breezeclan, which were close allies.

The breeze blew softly as Robinstar slept calmy in her den, rolling over now and again for a comfortable position. She stayed like this for a while until the noises of hissing and growling came from outside.

Robinstar instantly lifted her head and sprinted from her den, half asleep, with her tail held high. In front of her two of her most loyal warriors surrounding a brown striped male from Thornclan.

She ran over to the pure black she-cat and she turned to face her leader. The she-cat blinked her soft blue eyes and the grey one turned around, his glass-green eyes shining and lifting his front white paw.

"Acornstripe is trespassing!" Nightwing growled.

Acornstripe flicked his tail in annoyance, and before being scolded he quickly backed away and scurried out of camp. The three cats watched him disappear. The fur on the back of Nightwings neck started to bristle, and withen a few seconds she found herself running after the warrior from Thornclan.

What am i doing? Nightwing thought to herself as she jumped and ran through the thick woods with ease. Soon, Nightwing stopped in her tracks and peered around. She sniffed the air and sensed she had entered Thornclan camp. A growl rose from her throat quietly. Rosestar, who was the leader of Thornclan, was no where in sight.

No voices were to be heard, so Nightwing turned and started to pad back to camp. As she walked, carefully lifting her paws up to avoid the mud patches from a recent heavy rain fall, she smelt a nearby cat from Wolfclan.

Nightwing waited until finally Clawstar, a ash grey tom with black stripes darted past her. He stopped at the sight of Nightwing and started to catch his breath as he sat down behind her.

"What are you doing?" Nightwing asked with curiosity.

"Running, duh." Clawstar hissed.

Nighteing flattened her ears. "From what?"

"Wolves." Clawstar sighed before looking in the direction of where he ran from.

"Oh!" Nightwing spluttered.

"Yeah, so get back to ca-" Clawstar demanded before being cut off by snarling and pawsteps of wolves approaching. Nightwing stared wide eyes at Clawstar, then up at a tree behind him. He nodded to her and she quickly scrambled up and into the tall tree until the leaves covered her up.

She peered through the leaves as Clawstar started to run as a pack of four wolves appeared, snarling and growling. They sniffed around, and for a split second the largest ones gaze met Nightwings. Nightwing gave out a little hiss, and the wolf flattened it ears and quickly ran off in the direction of Clawstar in fear. The wolf was quickly followed by the others.

Nighwting reached camp quickly and she tumbled into Robinstars den. Nobody was there so Nightwing ran into the nursery, Robinstars second favourite place. She was sitting with her mate, Lionheart and her two kits. Lionheart was a dusty yellow colour and one kit was blond with white spots and the other was a light brown like her mothers chest, but the brown one had mismatched eyes like the mother.

"Is something wrong?" Robinstar asked, cocking her head.

"Clawstar is being hunted by wolves." Nightwing said, sitting herself down as the two kits bounded over to her.

"Is he OK?" the male kit asked, giving a flick of his fluffy tail.

"I don't know." Nightwing said looking down at the kit, then she turned to the much slimmer kit to the left of the brother.

"Do you think he'll make it to camp?" the she-kit mewed with a scared tone in her voice.

"Of course, Sparrowkit. Clawstar is a very fast runner." Robinstar mewed, cutting into the conversation. Lionheart nodded.

"Yea sis, have some faith in him." The male mewed with a giggle. Spotkit gave him a stern look.

"Cloudkit!" Robinstar scolded, then she turned to Nightwing. "He'll be fine, no need to worry." But Nightwing could see the nervous expression on her face.
