I sat bolt upright shocked, my eyes wide open, I blinked, what the fuck? Big, brown blue eyes were smiling down at me, mum.
"Muuuuummm" I groaned, "What are you doing, it's like one in the morning!"
WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS DO THIS? I WANT TO SLEEP.
"Honeybell, I'm only trying to give you breakfast and do my duties as a mother, it could be called child neglect if I didn't tell you where I'm going." She said that last bit with a grimace. Mums got this weird thing about how she has to do all the best with me, just because Jacobs gone...I kind of understand, but it's freaking annoying.
"Okay mum, you can go now..." I said sweetly, "Fine, but you will thank me for the next three weeks, I would take it out of the oven in 15 minutes." Mum said all this with just as much sweetness as I had used, except with her it worked like a charm, I jumped out of be as soon as she had gone to check my phone, 10 minutes to go.
When I went down stairs I looked in the oven, a golden brown round cake was sitting on the braking tray, the whole kitchen smelled like cooking, not ready yet.
I sat down to watch some TV, OMG no way, I had missed the new big bang theory, wait...I flicked through the channels trying to find a repeat...yes! Found it, I watched Sheldon get his "Scientific boy band" look. :)
