"Dude, come one. Ever since you came back you've been different, let's go!" Charlie says.
"No way, man. I'm not going back out there." Charlie rolls his eyes.
"Seriously Alec, it's just one party," Brayden adds.
"I'll pick you up afterward." I get up to leave, but Zyair grabs my arm, "I heard Kayla's gonna be there." He looks at me, but I can't interpret his expression. I turn back to Brayden, Charlie, Zyair, and Ryan. "Me and Kayla are over Z."
"Not sure if she's on the same page as you Al." Brayden says as I head out the door.
