All the other kids had now disappeared to somewhere else in the house and there was just him and Barry left in Angela's bedroom.

"I've got an idea Baz"

"What's that?"

"I've got an idea for a new game. Well it's not really a new game....it's an old game but I'm going to make new rules"

"Ok....well lets go find the others and you can tell them what the game is" said Barry.

A room-to-room search revealed half the girls in the lounge watching a video of Angela's swimming training. Her dad would record her and her sister swimming because he said they would be champions one day. It came to pass that Fiona would represent Australia at the Olympics in Spain. The same year when Angela would graduate with Honours in Medicine from the University of WA.

Angela was not in the Lounge room. Nor was Michael. Bodie called out her name "Angela........ ANGELA.....Where are you?" He shouted. A few seconds later, a laughin, giggling Angela emerged from inside a large wall cabinet in the corner of the lounge.

"What a wicked place to hide!" one of the other girls exclaimed.

Michael walked slowly into the lounge room looking very disappointed. This pleased Bodie and he smiled and then spoke.

"Let's play my new game, it's called "Hide and Seek in the dark."

There was some confused looks around the room. He continued.

"It's like Hide and Seek but with some differences. It's in the dark. All the lights are off and whoever is doing the seeking must call out the name of the person they find but because it is dark this is done by touch not looking-because it is Dark! If the seeker gets the name wrong, or do not know they have to keep on seeking until they correctly guess whom they have found. When the seeker guesses a name and its wrong the person they have found must say nothing. If they are right, the person found must say "Yes" and then it is the start of a new game. The seeker must go outside into the garden and count to 100." He added, "No hiding in the kitchen and the light stays on in the kitchen."

Bodie looked around and said "OK?"

Several of the girls responded with giggles and nods.

Angela said, "That sounds like fun, let's do it but who's going to be the 'seeker'?"

"I will," stated Bodie "after all it's my idea so I'll go first."!

Bodie walked towards the back door.

"Don't forget to switch the lights off before I count to 100" and with that, he stepped outside into the garden where the mothers were sat around the patio table.

"What's going on in there Bodie?" Angela's mother asked.

Bodie simply said "Hide and Seek, it's my turn to seek" he said innocently.

"Oh, ok" she responded and continued with her chatting.

Bodie noticed that the fathers were in the games room at the rear of the garden playing pool.

"Perfect" he thought. No adults to interfere with my special game, as he knew that if any of them knew about the lights being switched off, they would of interjected on account that there was a possibility of someone tripping and hurting themselves or breaking something. The back door leading to the garden was from the kitchen and then the house plan opened outwards from there into the music room, a study, a lounge, four bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom and another room set up as a home gym. It was a big house, perfect for his new game.
