Bodie looked up and noticed the same waitress that had just taken their order walking back towards them.

"I bet she has forgotten something" he said with calm conviction.

Arriving at their table, the pretty waitress directed her view to Bodie and exclaimed in an apologetic tone, "Sorry Sir, I lost my concentration and just wanted to confirm that you both wanted the same order with the difference being that Louise will have a skinny flat white instead of a cappuccino. Is that correct Sir?"

Bodie gave the waitress an appreciative, warm smile. "Yes, thank you Monique. I have to compliment you on your thoroughness and manners. I visit a lot of different Cafes on my travels and all too often the wait-staff can be quite rude and they also make avoidable mistakes by not thinking about the customer's needs."

Monique's return smile was accompanied by blushing red cheeks, which did not go unnoticed by Louise who was looking on intently at both her and Bodie. Monique leaned forwards slightly as she spoke, exposing the hint of a very impressive cleavage.

"Thank you for saying so Sir" then lowering her voice so that just Bodie and Louise could hear her she added, "you would never believe how rude some customers can be."

Without averting his gaze, Bodie responded. "Oh, there's no need to convince me of how rude a lot of people can be Monique. If I had a dollar for every rude person I've encountered in my time, I'd need to be like 'Scrooge McDuck'!"

Looking a little confused, Monique asked, "who is he? Is he a singer or something? I watch 'Rage' and 'MTV' and 'The Loop' every weekend and I've never heard of him......or her!"

Laughing out loud now, Bodie replied "Do you know who Walt Disney is?"

"Yeah sure. He's that American guy who made all those cartoons and stuff."

"Yes correct so 'Scrooge was a cartoon character in comics and on TV who loved to spend time laying around in a mountain of cash and coins inside his huge bank vault."

"Oh, I know there's a 'Donald Duck' but I didn't know there was a 'Screw McDuck'!"

Laughing even louder now and then checking himself as he noticed several patrons were looking over at him and he also noticed Louise trying to suppress a giggle. Bodie gestured to the bemused waitress to move closer, which she immediately did and once again her eye-catching cleavage was just inches away from his smiling face.

"It's not 'SCREW McDuck', its 'SCROOGE McDuck'!"

Blushing once again but retaining her composure and trying to look serious Monique quipped, "and now I've completely lost my concentration again, thanks to you Sir!

"Calling me 'Sir' is appreciated and I do apologise for distracting you from your duties. You best get back to work now before the boss starts wondering where you are!"

Her eyes twinkled mischievously and she seemed to linger on the spot whilst the smile on her pretty face betrayed her inner thoughts, something that did not go unnoticed by Bodie.

"Ok Monique, Louise and I will stop distracting you, for now anyway."

"Hey, leave me out of this Bodie. I'm not distracting anyone!" Louise exclaimed indignantly.

Grinning directly at Louise and then turning to look at Monique he said "Thank you Monique, exceptional service."

"Thank you kind Sir" she replied smiling sweetly before turning and walking back towards the kitchen.

"Did you see that Bodie?" Louise's tone was slightly annoyed.

"See what?"

"That waitress, MONIQUE was flirting with you big time!"
