*THE PLOT HAS CHANGED FROM THE TV SHOW *

Finn's POV

It was finally monday - casting day.

We put up the cast list, and almost instantly everyone ran over to go see what they got. The judges and I waited off to the side to see everyone's reactions. I noticed that Calysta wasn't here yet.

"Who the hell is Calysta Van Knightsley?!" Kitty basically screamed.

"That would be me" we heard her, as she got her way through the crowd. Everyone was basically staring at her, like a new piece of meat. Kitty didn't even have a response, as her mouth just hung open. Calysta walked over gracefully to the cast list, and saw her name next to Sandy and smiled. Then after smiling to us judges, turned around and left, with everyone just staring after her, not moving.

Calysta's POV

"Calysta right?" a guy asked, as he came up next to my locker. I looked over and smiled politely.

"Yes" I replied.

"I'm Ryder, Ryder Lynn. I'm playing Danny in Grease" he said.

"It's nice to meet you, and congratulations"I replied. He was pretty cute too, to be honest.

"It's my pleasure. I was wondering if you wanted to eat with me for lunch today? So we could get to know each other better" he asked, and I smiled and nodded.

"Sounds good to me" I replied, and we walked to lunch together.

"So, where did you move here from?" he asked.

"Canada. I went to the Canadian Dance Academy" I replied, and he looked extremely shocked.

"Wow, why did you move here then?" he asked.

"My dad got another promotion" I replied.

"that's cool. Have you lived other places before?" he asked. Ryder was actually really interested, and I was happy about it.

"Yea, I've lived in Colorado and Australia" I said.

"Wow, very different places" he commented, and I laughed a bit while nodding.

"Yes. What do you do here?" I asked.

"I'm on the football team and Glee. Are you going to join glee now?" he asked.

"I probably should since I'm in the musical"I said, and he smiled widely.

"Let me help you with an audition piece then. Glee club is next period so let's go work on it" Ryder said, taking my hand and taking me to this back room.

ryder's POV

We decided on "Hard to Love", and we were going to sing it as a duet, to ease her with singing to them. I knew that the group, especially Kitty, could be extremely judgemental.  I didn't want her to be scared off by her, althoguh she seemed to be fine this morning.

"You're going to be great" I whispered to her, as we went to Glee club, sitting down. I saw Finn smile at Calysta when he came in and saw her. She smiled back, and Mr Schue smiled as well.

"Well, I think we have someone who wants to join.." Mr Schue started, motioning to Calysta.

We went upstage, and it was hard for me not to stare at her the whole time while we were singing.

After we finished, dancing and staring at each other, almost like I had shut off the world, and it was just me and her. She was beautiful, like an angel dropped out of the sky.

When we finished, everyone had stood up clapping, even Kitty. She wasn't too happy about it though.

"Is she in guys?" Mr Schue asked, and everyone hollered yes, of course.

Calysta's POV

After school, the girl, I think her name was Kitty, caught up with me at my locker.

"Hi, I'm Kitty. I just wanted to formally introduce myself. ARe you free this afternoon?" She asked, in a bit of a snottish tone. From what I got from Ryder, she was a Class A bitch, nothing I couldn't handle. I didn't care much for her, her impression didn't matter so much.

"Pleasure to meet you, but no. I'm busy. I've got auditions." I said, closing my locker, and just walking away.

"Nice job there" Jake said, as he came up to me. I smiled.

"Thank you" I replied, and walked over to my car and drove back home.

Two weeks later was Grease. I had actually become "friendly" with Kitty, since she knew she couldn't do anything to me,  and became actual friends with Marley, Tina, Ryder, Jake, Brittany, Sam and the rest of glee.

Jake and Marley were basically a couple now, and Kitty was doing everything in her power to stop it and ruin Marley's life. I didn't know what was happening really, because I was caught up in my practices for the Cincinatti ballet, and I was doing a few model shoots as well, as Trish thought it would good for my career.

Ryder and I had gone on a few dates actually, and were close, but not in a relationship yet. I knew he wanted to, but I couldn't. I was still heartbroken over my last ex - we were so in love, but I had to move away, and our paths weren't going to allow significant others in our lives. He was perfection, in all senses of the word, and everyday I missed him - it's the only thing that keeps me motivated sometimes. That I didn't leave, and we didn't break up for nothing - I was becoming something amazing.

"How did the auditions go?" Ryder asked, backstage as we practiced our dance again for Grease.

"Good, I got the part of prima ballerina." I said, and Ryder smiled widely.

"Congratulations! Isn't that the main part?" Ryder asked. I nodded, smiling a bit.

"See, I knew you'd get it" Ryder exclaimed, as he hugged me ithglty after we finished the steps.

I rolled my eyes, and quickly went on stage.

After the show, Mr Schue told us about the amazing reviews, and there were several points about the great main characters, especially Sandy. I knew Trish would get those articles and print them out to put in my portfolio and resume.
