The Grand War

Chapter 1

"Don't worry Wilbur, I have a secret weapon on our side. We just have to wait a moment..." Tommy spoke in a hushed tone right after Jschlatt had announced their revoked citizenship. "What are you talk-" Wilbur's sentence was cut short by a message in the game chat. 'Technoblade has joined the game'. People started to freak out as a tall man with pink hair and pig like features started to load in. There stood the Technoblade, he was six feet tall, had bright pink hair, his golden crown and his kingly attire, his black eyes, and his pig ears and boar like tusks. Everyone froze, waiting for what he was going to say. Techo stretched a bit and then spoke, "Sorry it took so long Tommy, this new update really threw me for a loop." He said as he scratched the back of his neck. Tommy was beaming with joy, "It's ok Tehcnoblade, the important thing is that you are here and on our side!" Tommy cheered. Wilbur was flabbergasted, "Who knew you had it in you Tommy, good job! Now we can't lose, we have the best pvp master on our side!" Wilbur patted Tommy's head. Suddenly an evil laugh broke out that caused everyone to turn and look at Jschlatt confused. "Wow, bravo, this was truly a good move. If only I hadn't prepared for the possibility. George, send them the message." Jschlatt said with an evil undertone. "Right away!" George responded before his character faded slightly, signifying he was in another window. A few moments later George's character looked vibrant again, meaning he was back. "Message has been sent, they will be here any moment now." He told Jschlatt. Seconds later a message popped up in chat, 'Unknown_Spirit has joined the game'. With that message Jschlatt's smile grew wider, "Meet our pvp legend boys, the one who will defeat Technoblade!" Jschlatt yelled out. Soon a female's voice spoke up, "Why is the spawn trapped? This is sooo lame." Quackity was the one who responded by laughing, "Don't worry Mel, I'm on my way to get you. Just attempt to parkour out until I get there." And with that Quackity started walking away. "Well this Mel doesn't seem so special to me." Tommy said but then felt a hand on his shoulder. When he looked up he was met with Tehcnoblade glaring at Jschlatt. "Techno...?" Tommy spoke. Technoblade turned his attention to Tommy and sighed, "We can't win this fight, we need to flee. Now." He said in a stern tone. Tommy started to panic and looked back at Wilbur, seeing that he was also panicked by why Techno had said. "Wilbur...." Tommy started, only to be cut short as Wilbur's eyes widened in horror. "Run Tommy! Now!" He yelled and Tommy quickly took off into a sprint to the borders of the smp, Wilbur and Techno not far behind him. Wilbur being the one furthest back, heard one last thing before they were out of hearing distance, "Tubbo, Mel, Fundy, go hunt them down and kill them." Schlatt said with a dark tone, it was bone chilling. Soon the three of them were outside the borders and needed a place to hide out and lay low. Wilbur dug into the side of a hill and the other two followed suit. While mining down Tommy discovered that there was a small ravine below them that they could turn into their new nation. Thus Pogtopia was born and the three boys got to work on making it look nice. A few hours later they heard footsteps above them and so they all froze to avoid making any sound. Only to their dismay the intruder had dug into their small base above the ravine. "Hiding in a hill, smart idea." A female voice spoke aloud, causing the boys to know exactly who was about to find them. "Ah! An entrance to a ravine, these guys are much smarter than what I was told." Mel continued to talk aloud to herself as she descended into said ravine. Tommy quickly looked over at Wilbur and Techno, who were across the way from him, with a panicked look on his face. Techno motioned for him to stay silent and Wilbur motioned from him to start moving towards them. Tommy took a deep breath and sprinted across to the other two. Once all three of them were together Techo quickly and quietly started to mine into the wall behind them. They could hear Mel's footsteps growing closer and closer with every block they mined. Once in the wall far enough Tehcno quickly blocked it off so Mel wouldn't see a gap in the wall. Soon they saw her nametag stop right in front of their hiding spot, their breathing quickened at the thought of being caught and killed. However, their worries soon eased up when they heard her speak up. "Guess they are out right now....I'll just head back and report my findings to Quackity and Schlatt." And with that they saw her nametag move away and heard the sounds of her footsteps grow quieter and quieter. The boys let out a sigh of relief and mined out of their hiding spot. Then in an instant Techno took off, sprinting in the direction Mel went. Wilbur shouted after him, "Techno! Where are you going?!" he yelled. Techno didn't bother to stop, only to yell back a short response. "To kill her and keep the location of Pogtopia safe!" Tommy cheered at this decision, "Yea! Blood for the blood god!" he yelled. Though before much else could happen Techno came to a halt, confusing the other two boys. "Off to try to kill me huh, maybe I really should go rat you exiles out to Schlatt." Mel spoke from in front of Technoblade. "Ahem, dear Wilbur Soot, TommyInnit, and Technoblade. I, Unknown_Spirit or Mel, have decided to secretly join you exiles as an inside woman. If you agree I will help you overthrow Manburg by providing you three with inside information as well as secret passages into the nation. In addition, also joining you all as two other traitors would be Tubbo_ and The_Eret. Sincerely The Order of Silent Secrets or The O.S.S.'' Mel said, bewildering the others. "Wait, so you, Tubbo, and Eret want to betray Manburg and join us?" Wilbur questioned. "That would be sorta correct." She responded. "And we are meant to trust the person who was brought on to the server with the sole purpose to hunt us down and kill us?" Wilbur questioned once again. "Well when you put it that way it sounds bad, but yes that's exactly what you're supposed to do." Mel responded once more. "Come on Wilbur, Tubbo would join us if you accept, just trust her." Tommy piped up. "I'm sure we could get him on our side regardless, so no I will not trust her just yet." Wilbur spoke, glaring at Mel. She only shrugged and turned back to Techno, "Go on then, get it over with." Techno nodded slowly, understanding what Mel meant. He pulled out his diamond axe and swung into her stomach, successfully killing her and sending her back to spawn. "Wait what did she mean by sorta correct?" Tommy asked aloud, but neither of the others responded. Soon the three boys joined the Manburg call to hear their reactions and to see if she would rat them out. "What the hell Melo- Mel?! How did you die?!" Quackity yelled out. "1. Watch what you say Quackity and 2. I died because all I was given was an iron axe and told to go chase people in armour and with weapons. So of course they jumped me the first chance they got, there was no way they could possibly lose." Mel said in an annoyed tone. "Well you are meant to be better than Technoblade, so this is unacceptable." Schlatt said. "Just because me and him have a history of battling each other and both having multiple wins does not mean I am 'better than him'." She said growing agitated with their comments. "Well if you keep this horrible effort up we will have no choice but to revoke your citizenship." Jschlatt said in a snobbish tone. Mel only laughed then responded, "Well seeing as I am technically a member of the Dream SMP side, that wouldn't do much to harm me rather than it would harm yourselves." She spoke in a very sinister tone, as another voice backed her up. "It's true, she is on my side." George said. Everyone had forgotten he was in the call and freaked out for a second. The boys of Pogtopia decided she definitely would not give them away and left the call. Soon everyone in the call left to their own individual ones, allowing Mel to get a hold of Tubbo and Eret to talk about how the offer went. Unaware that Tubbo was sending Tommy what they were saying. "They rejected our offer and said that they could get Tubbo on their side regardless." Mel told Eret. "That's quite egotistical of Tommy, but logical." He said. "But that's the thing, it was Wilbur that said that. Tommy actually wanted to accept the offer." She replied. "Really? That's not like Wilbur...something must be up." Eret thought aloud. "Yes and......Tubbo why have you been so quiet?" Mel questioned Tubbo. Tubbo freaked out and accidentally gave away what he was doing. "What? I'm not telling Tommy everything you two are saying! You are!" He said, flustered. "Tubbo! They didn't accept the offer, you can't be giving them information!" Mel said back, getting upset. "I-i know, but it's Tommy, I can't just not tell him things." Tubbo responded. Mel only sighed, then got an idea. "Alright just make sure you don't tell them that Jschlatt is paying Technoblade to supply him with information on them and to eventually betray them." Mel lied to Tubbo, knowing that he would immediately tell Tommy about what she just said. Moments later Mel received a message from Technoblade and she smirked, knowing that her plan had worked. It was a simple and straightforward message from the pig boy. +What the hell?!+ Mel laughed a bit then responded, +What just trying to make sure Tommy gets alllllll the right info from Tubbo.+ She knew her response would tick off techno and that it was only a matter of time before things would fall into place. +1v1 duel, now.+ popped up in the corner of her screen, worrying her. +Vent or just because?+ Techno's response would dictate how worried she should be. +Bit of both, join my call and meet at death tower?+ She read the message then spoke up. "Well boys, this chat has been fun, but I have some business to take care of." And with that she joined Techno's call. "The one Badboyhalo chased you to right?" She asked, being the first to speak up. "That's the one." He replied and saw her approaching. He glared at her and she only smirked. "What are we going to yell about this time? The fact that I used Wilbur's new found distrust to my advantage?" She asked, knowing exactly what she had done. "Maybe, maybe not." Technoblade responded, and got ready for her attack. "Whelp, let's get this over with then." Mel pulled out a stone axe and a shield. Techno looked confused then remembered what happened earlier. "Wow they didn't replace the iron axe you lost. What jerks." He said. "Yea tell me about it, they think I'm some unstoppable god just because I've been able to hold my own against you oh great blood god." She finished with a lighthearted, joking tone. "Well let's see how good you really are, I'll even match you." He said back, emptying his inventory and only having a stone axe and shield. Both of them smirk at one another and prepare for battle.
