Dictionary definition: An ally is a heterosexual and cisgender person who supports equal civil rights, gender equality, and LGBT social movements, challenging homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia.
My definition: An ally is a non-lgbtq+ person that supports lgbtq+.
Flag meaning: The 'a' shape represents the word ally. The the rainbow obviously stands for LGBTQ+. The black and white stripes in the back are for the heterosexual flag.
Flag created: Unsure
Celebrities: Major allies of LGBTQ+ are Prince William (he was once named Straight Ally of the Year, I don't really know why this exists but support is good), Beyoncé (honoured by GLAAD (the Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation) and Jay-Z (his mother is a lesbian), Justin Timberlake (he won an Inspiration award from another LGBTQ+ association) and many other celebrities.
Media: I hope most, but it is a bit hard to find answers for this category.
Other: Here is a link to a article on how to be a better ally and resources for allies, https://buffer.com/resources/lgbtqia-resources/
