"You look lovely today, yashiro" Amane complimented me and I blushed.
"I mean you look beautiful everyday" he looked away while scratching the back of his neck.
"Thank you Amane" I giggled at him.
"Perhaps, you want a good impression for my family?" He teased and I kicked his leg.
"Shut up!" I left him behind as he continued groaning in pain.
"They'll arrive soon" he informed and I stared at him.
"Are you excited to see them?" I asked and he nodded happily.
I sat on my throne and he stood beside me. Minutes later, the door opened and revealed the Yugi family. They bowed at me and I did the same. Amane ran to his family and hugged them one by one. I felt tears brimmed in the corner of my eyes and wiped it off immediately.
"Thank you for taking care of our boy" his mother said and I smiled at her.
"Shall we head to the dining room?" They followed me and suddenly a boy tugged my dress.
"Are you my brother's girlfriend?" He asked innocently and I turned a dark shade of red.
"So, what do you think of our boy?" His father asked and I choked at my food. Amane handed me a glass of water and mumbled a 'thank you'.
"Pardon?" I asked.
"We don't mind if Amane chooses you as his bride" I blushed at that and saw Amane smirk.
"Nene-san will be my sister-in-law law!" Tsukasa cheered.
"Mom, Dad, stop pressuring her" Amane said.
"You're a sweet and kind person. If you happen to be his bride, I want three grandchildren." His mother chirped and I'm sure I look like a tomato right now.
"Me too" his father added. Both me and Amane are blushing hard then Tsukasa laughed at his brother while teasing him. I joined in too and the dining hall was now filled with laughter and giggles.
They bid farewell and went inside their carriage.
"Visit us Amane!" His brother shouted and Amane gave him a thumbs up.
We went inside and I saw how happy he was.
"Thank you, yashiro" he said and hugged me. I hugged him back and nuzzled my face at his chest.
"Make sure to visit them often okay?" I said and he nodded. I was about to enter my chamber but stopped when he held my wrist. I turned around confused then he slowly neared my face and I backed away but was met by the wall.
"W-what a-are-" I was cut off when he kissed my cheek. I felt myself heat up and saw him smile.
"A 'thank you' gift" he mumbled and walked away. I stood there frozen, still not processing what happened earlier.
"Stupid Amane" I mumbled and entered my chamber.
